Dan joined Pro Football Network in August 2023 as a part-time writer, bringing a wealth of experience and a sharp editorial eye. Recognized for his leadership and impact, he was promoted to News Editor in April 2024 and now serves as Director of PFSN’s Insights.
Before PFN, Dan spent 23 years at ESPN, where he was a key member of the network’s acclaimed Stats & Information Group. For 15 years, he led the ESPN BottomLine team—one of the most visible and trusted real-time information services in sports media. Under his direction, the BottomLine became a go-to source for scores, news updates, and breaking developments across ESPN’s television platforms.
He also served on the senior leadership team within Stats & Information, contributing to strategic planning, data integration, and editorial innovation. His time at ESPN was defined by a focus on accuracy, speed, and audience-first storytelling.
Dan is a proud graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and an alumnus of the university’s student-run television station, PSTV. He lives in Connecticut and remains deeply engaged with the sports world that first inspired his career.
