How to Play the NFL Connections Game
The NFL connections game is a 4x5 grid with names from varying categories. The challenge is to identify the right connections among the group in the quickest time possible. This is done by simply selecting the boxes that you believe make a connection. If you are correct, they will turn from grey to a brighter color.
If you are struggling to identify the connections, you can select to reveal any of the five clues, but doing so will impact your score for that connection. The first clue costs you 10%, the second clue 30%, the third clue 60%, and the fourth clue 70%.
How does Scoring Work in the NFL Connections Game?
Each correct answer is worth 10 points. The score is reduced on a sliding scale if you need to reveal a clue to find connections. Additionally, there is a time bonus awarded at the end based on how quickly you find all five connections. For every second taken, the time bonus reduces by 1 second with a maximum time bonus of 300.
