Has Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Ever Won NFL MVP?

0

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has come out of the bye week on fire and is entering this week’s game after one of the best three-game stretches of his career. He’s been the team’s starting quarterback in each of his eight seasons.

Prescott has already won a couple of major awards in his career: the 2016 Offensive Rookie of the Year and the 2022 Walter Payton Man of the Year. In the 2021 season, he also won an NVP award, the Nickelodeon Valuable Player, for his performance in the Wild Card game.

Has Dak Prescott Ever Won MVP?

Prescott has never won the NFL MVP; the closest he’s come to winning was after his rookie season in 2016. He received one vote and finished sixth behind Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who received 25 votes. Prescott’s teammate and fellow rookie, Ezekiel Elliott, received six votes and finished tied for third.

As a rookie, Prescott led the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and an NFC East championship. He completed 67.8% of his passes and had 23 touchdowns with four interceptions, a career low when he played a full season.

MORE: Dallas Cowboys Depth Chart

It’s the only time in his career that he’s received a vote for MVP. Voting for the NFL MVP changed for last season to allow voters to list their top five picks. In the previous structure, voters only listed one player on their MVP ballot.

Prescott was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 2016 and 2018 seasons.

Is This His Best Season?

Heading into the Week 7 bye, Prescott wasn’t close to the MVP conversation as the Cowboys were 4-2, with one of the losses being a high-profile blowout at the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5 on Sunday Night Football. He was having an ordinary season with 222.2 pass yards per game, six touchdowns, and four interceptions through six games.

In the last three games, Prescott has been one of the best players in football, with over 360 pass yards per game, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions. His best three-game stretch was the final three games of the 2021 season, when he had over 283 pass yards per game with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Prescott has a 70.7% completion percentage this season; his career best is 68.8% in 2021. It’s unlikely he will top his career high of 4,902 pass yards from the 2019 season. He enters Week 11 needing to average 311 pass yards a game in the final eight games to surpass his 2019 total.

In 2021, Prescott threw for 37 touchdowns in 16 games to set a career high. He missed one game that season because of an injury. He’s at 17 touchdowns through nine games and would need to throw at least three a game to top his 2021 mark. His six interceptions already passed his low for a season—four in 16 games as a rookie in 2016.

Who Are the Leading MVP Candidates?

Prescott has the ninth-best odds to win MVP at +3500 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who has a win over Prescott’s Cowboys, is currently the favorite at +280. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes are tied for the second-best odds at +300.

Hurts and Mahomes finish this week with a Monday night matchup in Kansas City, with the winner likely to head to Thanksgiving weekend as the MVP favorite. Both teams are currently in line to have home-field advantage in the playoffs.

It will be an uphill battle for Prescott to get close to the top of MVP voting, but the Cowboys’ remaining schedule presents a chance to show he deserves to be in the conversation. Prescott would need to continue his great play, and the team would need to beat NFC contenders like the Eagles and Detroit Lions to have any chance at MVP.

Buccaneers vs. 49ers Player Prop Bets: Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, Mike Evans, and Others

0

This Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. San Francisco 49ers matchup is one of three games in the late afternoon today, with San Francisco being a heavy favorite. However, both offenses feature plenty of talent at the skill positions, making it an intriguing game from a player props perspective. Which player prop bets should you be targeting?

Top Buccaneers vs. 49ers Player Prop Bets To Target

Mike Evans Player Props

  • Receiving Yards: 55.5 (Over -122/Under -114)
  • Receptions: 4.5 (Over +110/Under -150)
  • Longest Reception: 22.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +190

Blewis: Of wide receivers with at least 50 targets for the season, Mike Evans is fifth in average depth of target at 14.3. The point is that Evans doesn’t need a ton of volume to go over a low number of 55.5 receiving yards, and this comes in a game in which they’re double-digit underdogs.

MORE: NFL Survivor Picks Week 11

The Buccaneers are 15th in pass rate over expectation despite having the worst rushing offense in the NFL. But if they fall behind early in this one as expected, hopefully, they won’t be hesitant to abandon the running game and give their receivers, particularly Evans, a lot of opportunities.

Pick: Mike Evans over 55.5 receiving yards (-122 at ESPN BET)

Trey Palmer Player Props

  • Receiving Yards: 21.5 (Over -122/Under -114)
  • Receptions: 2.5 (Over +125/Under -175)
  • Longest Reception: 13.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +460

Katz: All of the focus in this game is rightfully on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but Trey Palmer has firmly taken hold of the WR3 role.

The 49ers are a pass-funnel defense. We also could see the Bucs fall behind, forcing them to throw even more. Palmer is out there in all three-receiver sets. He could get lucky and find the end zone while the game is competitive. But what if it’s not?

What if Evans and Godwin are on the bench in the fourth quarter while the 49ers are playing prevent with Palmer as the WR1? The odds are too good for Palmer to score this week.

Pick: Trey Palmer anytime touchdown (+800 at FanDuel)

Brock Purdy Player Props

  • Passing Yards: 258.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Pass Touchdowns: 1.5 (Over -145/Under +107)
  • Pass Completions: 20.5 (Over -125/Under -110)
  • Pass Attempts: 29.5 (Over -114/Under -122)
  • Interceptions: 0.5 (Over +125/Under -175)

Blewis: Brock Purdy should have his way with this Buccaneers passing defense today. The last time we saw this team play on the road, they allowed five touchdown passes from C.J. Stroud.

They were fortunate to play Will Levis last week, but the only quarterback who didn’t throw for two or more touchdown passes against this Bucs team at home was Derek Carr, and he was playing through an injury that game.

When this 49ers offense is at full strength, Purdy has thrown for two or more touchdowns in four out of six games, including three out of four home games.

Pick: Brock Purdy over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-130 at FanDuel)

Christian McCaffrey Player Props

  • Rushing Yards: 68.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Receiving Yards: 31.5 (Over -122/Under -114)
  • Receptions: 4.5 (Over +125/Under -175)
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: -200

Blewis: Christian McCaffrey’s touchdown streak finally came to an end last week, even when they did everything they could to try and get him into the end zone late in the game.

Unlike most of the other sportsbooks, ESPN BET offers odds for players NOT to score a touchdown. For almost every player, there is heavy juice on the no, that is, except for McCaffrey.

MORE: NFL Against the Spread Standings

Now that the streak is over, the +140 odds on him not to score are really appealing when you consider the 49ers won’t have extra motivation for him to extend his streak anymore, and guys like Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle are more than capable of racking up touchdowns instead.

Pick: Christian McCaffrey not to score a touchdown (+140 at ESPN BET)

Deebo Samuel Player Props

  • Receiving Yards: 49.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Receptions: 4.5 (Over +110/Under -150)
  • Longest Reception: 21.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Rushing Yards: 12.5 (Over -110/Under -125)
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +135

Blewis: In the 49ers’ five double-digit wins this season, Deebo Samuel has averaged 15 rushing yards per game. But if you narrow that down to the two games that they were favored by 10 or more points, like in this matchup, Samuel has rushed for eight total yards.

In those three other games, the 49ers were short favorites, so they went into those matchups thinking they would need Samuel both as a runner and a receiver.

Given how poorly the Buccaneers are at defending the pass, I expect that to be how Kyle Shanahan attacks their defense. It’s a low number, but I don’t think Samuel is going to get many opportunities on the ground here.

Pick: Deebo Samuel under 12.5 rushing yards (-120 at DraftKings)

George Kittle Player Props

  • Receiving Yards: 44.5 (Over -118/Under -118)
  • Receptions: 3.5 (Over -114/Under -122)
  • Longest Reception: 21.5 (Over -110/Under -125)
  • Anytime Touchdown Scorer: +185

Soppe: The 49ers are 12-point favorites this week, and that inherently comes with some volume risk when it comes to evaluating the passing game.

That, along with a healthy group of pass catchers, is really all I need to fade Kittle. This season, in games in which Deebo Samuel has played, Kittle has seen 4.1 targets per game (down from 9.0 in the two games Samuel sat with the shoulder injury). For his career, the tight end averages 9.8 yards per target, putting us in a spot to do some simple multiplication:

  • 4.1 targets x 9.8 yards per target = 40.2 yards

It’s never that easy, but in a game where we expect San Francisco to take their foot off the gas in an effort to keep their offense at full strength with a short work week ahead (at Seattle on Thursday night), this could easily be one of those dud games from Kittle.

Pick: George Kittle under 44.5 receiving yards (-115 at DraftKings)

Who Is Dorian Thompson-Robinson? Browns Rookie QB Making Start in Deshaun Watson’s Absence

0

After a devastating blow to the Cleveland Browns when Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending shoulder injury, the team has been forced to decide the quarterback position.

The Browns have opted to start Dorian Thompson-Robinson ahead of P.J. Walker for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson To Start for Cleveland Sunday

Cleveland’s QB1 Watson is out for the rest of the 2023 NFL season with a shoulder injury. The Browns announced Wednesday that Watson will undergo season-ending surgery on a broken bone in his throwing shoulder.

“Deshaun Watson underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Monday on two injuries sustained on different plays in the first half of Sunday’s 33-31 win over the Baltimore Ravens,” the team said in a statement on Wednesday.

“Imaging on his left ankle revealed a high-ankle sprain. In addition, postgame, Deshaun notified our medical staff of a new discomfort in his right shoulder that he felt after a hit in the first half. An MRI of his right shoulder revealed a displaced fracture to the glenoid.

Deshaun will be placed on season-ending injured reserve, and a full recovery is expected for the start of the 2024 season.”

In the meantime, rookie Thompson-Robinson will take the reins as he earned the starting nod over veteran PJ Walker.

The 2023 fifth-round pick has appeared in three games, throwing for 130 yards and three interceptions on 37 attempts. In the preseason, Thompson-Robinson passed for 440 yards and two touchdowns in four games.

Thompson-Robinson’s lone start came earlier this season as he completed 52.8% of his passes for 121 yards, no touchdowns, and three interceptions. The disastrous performance handed the team a 28-3 loss.

After the loss to the Ravens, Walker led the team to win over the 49ers despite completing only 52.9% of his passes for 192 yards and two interceptions.

The team defeated the Colts by a point under Walker as he completed 46.9% of his passes for 178 yards and an interception. He threw two more interceptions in the loss to the Seahawks the following week.

Walker has led the team to wins this season, but head coach Kevin Stefanski still opted to start Thompson-Robinson.

Stefanski hopes that preparing for his start this week will be beneficial.

“Yeah, I just felt like, as you know, every week you’re trying to just make the best decisions you can for your team,” Stefanski said. “I want to give him a week where he knows he’s the starter. He gets a full week of preparation.”

When asked what makes him confident that he will be better than he was in that Ravens game, Stefanski said, “Young players need exposure. You get better in practice. Sometimes you get better through games.”

Thompson-Robinson is also confident that he will play better this time around.

“I know what to expect now,” Thompson-Robinson said. “Unlike many other people out there, I’ve been in an NFL game, so I’m not stepping out there for the first time. I’m not just going out there wide-eyed anymore.”

When asked if the decision to start Thompson-Robinson over Walker is due to Walker’s high number of turnovers, Stefanski said no.

“I would tell you with P.J., he’s still a guy that we’re counting on,” Stefanski said. He’s done a great job in the meeting room on the practice field, as you mentioned has led us in these games. He has to be ready to go at a moment’s notice. Just felt like this was the right decision for the team right now.”

What College Did Dorian Thompson-Robinson Go To?

0

With Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson being put on injured reserve with a shoulder injury and the team looking to go in a different direction than backup P.J. Walker, it looks to be Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s job for the time being.

As Week 11 fast approaches and a matchup with the rival Pittsburgh Steelers at home up next, DTR is going to get an opportunity to show what he is made of as a starter on the NFL stage. Let’s take a closer look at the rookie quarterback and his time in college ahead of Sunday’s contest.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s Early Life

DTR was born on Nov. 14, 1999, in Columbia, South Carolina, while his mother was working on her degree at the University of South Carolina.

MORE: Cleveland Browns Depth Chart

Eventually, DTR and his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he attended high school football powerhouse Bishop Gorman. DTR was a four-star recruit and passed for 3,275 passing yards and 38 touchdowns as a senior while also rushing for 426 yards and seven touchdowns.

After an active recruitment that saw him receive several D-I scholarship offers, he committed to play college football at UCLA.

Thompson-Robinson’s College Career

DTR came into college football and made an immediate impact at UCLA while seeing action in ten games in 2018, his freshman season at UCLA.

In 2019, DTR officially became the starting quarterback and started 11 of 12 games that season. He tallied 2,701 passing yards and 198 rushing yards, the tenth-most total yards for a UCLA player in a single season. His 25 touchdowns– 21 of which came through the air — also ranked 10th all-time in a single season for a UCLA player.

That 2019 season kicked off a four-year starting stint for DTR as the Bruins’ starting quarterback, as he spent a total of five seasons playing for the school due to the extra year exemption college athletes were granted due to a shortened or lost COVID season in 2020.

DTR finished his college career appearing in 50 games, starting 48 of them and compiling a 24-24 record. Statistically, DTR finished with 10,695 passing yards on a 63.3% completion rate, 88 touchdown passes, and 35 interceptions. He also finished his college career with 1,827 rushing yards and 28 rushing touchdowns.

Following his five-year college career, DTR was selected by the Browns in the fifth round, 140th overall, in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Browns received the 140th pick from the Los Angeles Rams after trading Troy Hill back to Los Angeles following a one-year stay in Cleveland.

DTR introduced himself to the NFL world in the preseason with multiple quality performances that forced the Browns to keep him on their 53-man roster. Fast forward to the current day, and he now has an opportunity to once again prove he belongs, this time in Week 11 of the regular season against a hated division rival.

Is Christian McCaffery’s TD Streak Still Alive?

0

Christian McCaffery’s TD Streak Comes to an End

McCaffrey had a chance to make history as he entered the 49er’s last matchup. He had scored at least one touchdown in 17 consecutive games and was currently tied for the NFL record alongside Lenny Moore.

McCaffrey had a solid performance in the dominant win as he tallied 95 yards on the ground on 16 carries, but he just never found the end zone for a score. After the game, the running back was able to joke about the streak coming to an end.

MORE: What Did the Panthers Get in the Christian McCaffrey Trade?

“Yeah, I suck. Everyone else on the team scored … Except for me,” McCaffrey said. “Nah, means a lot to me for them to keep me in at the end of the game there and try to get me that record, but hey, I’ll take a huge win.”

On the 49ers’ last drive of the game, McCaffrey had a 19-yard run off the right end on 4th-and-5 to the Jaguars’ 10-yard line. He then ran for a yard, hauled in a six-yard catch from Sam Darnold, ran for a two-yard loss, and came up short on a fourth-down target.

Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk scored touchdowns in the win.

“Eighteen games in a row is a big record, so if we had a chance to do that, I was going to try to do it for him,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game. “And it’s a little nerve-wracking. The last thing I want to do is get him hurt … I wish we could have done it for him, but I think that was a pretty big accomplishment just to do it for 17 games straight.”

While Shanahan was criticized by some for “stat chasing” at the end of the game and risking an injury to McCaffrey, he seemed to have the support of his players. Starting quarterback Brock Purdy said they all wanted to see him break the record.

“Every guy on this team wanted it for Christian,” Purdy told reporters. “And obviously I think Christian wanted it more than anybody. He’s a humble guy and wants to win, so he puts the team first, but at that moment, everybody wanted it for Christian. So it hurts, but at the same time, he’s got a long career ahead of him, and I told him we’ll be able to do it again.”

The streak began with a three-yard touchdown reception from Purdy in Week 13 of last season. McCaffrey’s 17-game TD streak includes three playoff games and stands as a San Francisco franchise record. He will also be accompanied by Moore’s great run, which was set from 1963-64.

Despite ending the streak, McCaffrey has plenty to be proud of as the 49ers just snapped their three-game losing streak with a big win. McCaffrey is a pivotal part of the offense as he has amassed 747 yards on 153 carries this season, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He has put up nine touchdowns and brought in 38 receptions.

Why Did the Rams Sign Carson Wentz?

0

The Los Angeles Rams recently signed veteran quarterback Carson Wentz to back up starting quarterback Matthew Stafford. What are the expectations for Wentz in Los Angeles?

Carson Wentz’s Future With the Los Angeles Rams

As Stafford has struggled with injuries this season, Wentz could be a temporary fix — should he get injured again — but head coach Sean McVay has hinted at keeping Wentz around for the future.

“I think that’s to be determined,” McVay said. “I think we were just excited about being able to get him in the building. We had a need. And, like I had mentioned, we’re excited about getting Matthew back, but I think to have somebody that’s played as well as he’s played, has had as many experiences as he’s had to be out there and available is kind of rare.

“We were excited about the opportunity to be able to get him into the building, and that’s kind of where we’re at right now as it relates to that.”

The team will expect to return Stafford this week against the Seattle Seahawks after he missed the Week 9 loss to the Green Bay Packers while dealing with a right thumb injury.

Wentz signed a deal to be on the Rams’ 53-man roster for the veteran minimum of $1.165 million, plus a $150,000 signing bonus with a total cash value of $732,500, sources told NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

After waiting for an extended period to get a chance with another team, Wentz said he is thankful for the opportunity.

MORE: Los Angeles Rams Depth Chart

“I will say, the NFL has a way of humbling everybody,” Wentz said Wednesday in his first press conference with his new team. “And it’s a process, but at the same time, I’m no dummy. I’ve seen it all; I know how this league works, and I know kind of how last year ended, and I didn’t play well enough.

“Just to be on a team, to be around the guys, is a blessing regardless. So I’m thankful for that opportunity, and I’ll help in whatever way I can, and I’m going to be ready.”

Wentz was drafted No. 2 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft and had a successful run with the team. In his rookie season, he completed 62.4% of his pass attempts for 3,782 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.

A year later, Wentz went 11-2 as a starter before suffering a season-ending injury. The Eagles then went on to win the franchise’s first Super Bowl.

Since his run with the Eagles, Wentz has seen his performance decline. He left the Eagles after the 2020 season and led the Indianapolis Colts to a 9-6 start, although they lost their final two games and missed the postseason.

During his time in Washington in 2022, Wentz played in eight games and had a starting record of 2-5 with the Commanders.

Despite the decline, Wentz has solidified himself as a talented quarterback and could still have potential if given the chance. While his future with the Rams is unclear at the moment, the team could allow him to show that he still has the talent he showed with the Eagles.

  • Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs | 8:15 p.m. (Monday)
    Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith and his crew had a huge Monday night game between the Eagles and Chiefs. They averaged over 14 penalties per game in their first seven games this season, but they have only called 16 total infractions in the last two games combined.

This could benefit the Chiefs because they average 6.7 penalties per game, while the Eagles have had 5.2 calls against them per game.

MORE: NFL Bye Weeks Schedule 2023

Sunday night features an intriguing penalty matchup between the Vikings and Broncos. Both teams are in the top four in penalties called against their opponents this season.

They’ve seen around 7.5 flags per game called on the teams they’re playing this season. The Vikings have only had 4.8 penalties per game called against them, while the Broncos see over seven penalties per game against them.

Ron Torbert’s crew, who is officiating the Broncos and Vikings game, is tied for the fifth-most penalties called per game with 13.44. Like Shawn Smith’s crew, they have seen a remarkable drop in penalties per game called over the last two games. Torbert’s crew averaged over 15 penalties per game and only called 15 total penalties in the last two games.

Each season, officials are assigned to referees from the NFL’s officiating roster. You can see the full crews for the 2023 season in our handy guide.

How Does Flex Scheduling Work for This Season?

The Vikings and Broncos were both 1-4 after Week 5, making this game a strong candidate for flexing out by the NFL. The teams both started winning, and the game stayed in its original Sunday night spot.

So far, there have been no games flexed out of the prime-time spots, and the next chance is in early December. For Weeks 14–17, the NFL will announce the Sunday night games no later than six days in advance.

For this season, games scheduled to be played on Amazon Prime on Thursdays or ESPN/ABC on Mondays are now eligible to be flexed out and replaced with a new game. A game will be played on Sunday if it is moved from Thursday to Monday.

The flex window for Thursday nights starts in Week 13 and needs to be announced no later than 28 days in advance. As of now, no changes have been made for the first three weeks of the window.

Monday night flex starts in Week 12, and game changes must be announced at least 12 days ahead of time. Week 14 with the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants could be the first game flexed out if both teams continue to lose.

Schedule Changes Coming

Saturday in Week 15, we will have flex scheduling. There were five matchups designated as possible flex games for that week when the original season’s schedule was released in the spring. Three of the games will be played on Saturday, with the other two played on Sunday.

Week 18’s schedule and times will be announced the week before. There will be two Saturday games ahead of 14 Sunday games.

From the current NFL standings to team depth charts to coverage of every game in the 18-week NFL schedule, we have all the news from around the league to keep you up to speed!

Should You Start AJ Dillon or Aaron Jones in Fantasy Football in Week 11?

0

In the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the Green Bay Packers got a surprisingly good game from AJ Dillon while Aaron Jones struggled. So, how will that impact your decision to choose one of these two to start in your fantasy football lineup? Let’s check out their fantasy outlook for Week 11 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.

Should You Start AJ Dillon or Aaron Jones This Week?

In the Pro Football Network Start/Sit Optimizer, our Consensus Rankings say that Jones is the player to start. His projected 12.2 points include 47 rushing yards, three catches, and 22 receiving yards. That projected stat line outperforms the consensus projections of Dillon (7.1 points).

While it was a better week for Dillon last week, Jones is the more consistent running back and his ability to catch out of the backfield gives him the nod.

Fantasy Outlook for Dillon This Week

Dillon is tough to count on in fantasy, but he was solid last week against the Steelers. Despite only getting nine carries, Dillon still averaged 7.8 yards a carry and finished with 70 rushing yards, his second most of the season. The fact he got only nine carries is why he can’t be in your lineup, as he just doesn’t get it enough.

With Jones staying healthy and in the lineup, it’s difficult to see Dillon getting more carries than what he is right now. In the six games in which both have been in the lineup, Dillon is averaging 9.5 carries a game.

What really separates these two running backs is that Dillon isn’t a playmaker in the passing game. He has only 12 catches this year, and he has just one touchdown all season. With that in mind, he just doesn’t have the upside of his teammate Jones.

The Optimizer projects Dillon to finish with 29 rush yards, with two receptions for 11 yards.

Fantasy Outlook for Jones This Week

Two weeks ago, Jones had his best game of the year against the Los Angeles Rams. He touched the ball 20 times for 73 yards and scored a touchdown. As good as he was in that game, he was that bad against the Steelers. He rushed for only 35 yards in the loss to Pittsburgh

It wasn’t a great week for Jones, but don’t let one bad week make you completely change your mind. As he has continued to get further away from his injury, Jones has gotten more involved in the offense.

He touched the ball 24 times against the Rams, and even in the loss last week, Jones had 17 touches. These are Jones’ two biggest games of the season in terms of touches.

Plus, the Packers are going up against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. The Chargers’ defense just allowed 200 rushing yards to the Detroit Lions last week, and they have allowed the second-most receptions to opposing running backs this season (61).

For much of the year, the Chargers have been on pace to be on one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL, so Jones should be able to get a lot of catches.

Jones has caught four passes in each of the last three games, and he was targeted 17 times. That is good for fantasy football managers, and he could be in store for a huge day against the Chargers
