November 2025 was quieter but important reset period for Emma Raducanu. After her season was cut short by recurring foot, back, and heat-related problems, she spent the month in London and focused on recovery, light training, and some personal downtime.
Emma Raducanu’s Early Season Ending and Recovery Planning
After losing to Lin Zhu at the 2025 Ningbo Open, Raducanu chose to put rehab and conditioning first instead of rushing back to compete. She has been troubled by foot, back, and heat-related issues throughout the latter half of the season.
This plan came together with her new coach, Francisco Roig, who joined her team in August. Roig is known for working with top players like Rafael Nadal and he has been helping the Brit in her approach to training and injury prevention.
Early in November 2025, Raducanu officially pulled out of her scheduled U.S. exhibition matches in Miami and Newark in December. She was set to play the matches with Amanda Anisimova, Carlos Alcaraz, and João Fonseca. But after she pulled out, Jessica Pegula stepped in to take her spot.
Raducanu and Roig both agreed that interrupting her off-season training block wasn’t worth the risk. The Brit has also reportedly brought in Emma Stewart as her new physiotherapist to oversee her strength and conditioning work. Her main focus is to have a stronger and healthier comeback in the 2026 season, which she will start with the United Cup.
Raducanu and Jack Draper Trained For 2026 United Cup
Raducanu and Draper were seen training together ahead of their partnership at the 2026 United Cup. The event will be the first time both players officially represent Great Britain as a team. The mixed-gender event will run from Jan 2 to 11, 2026, making it an important warm-up before the Australian Open.
In a video shared by the Lawn Tennis Association on X, Raducanu and Draper were seen arriving at the National Tennis Centre and jumping straight into focused practice sessions. Raducanu was seen working on her groundstrokes and movement, while Draper worked on his serve and forehand.
Raducanu Tried Rugby
The World No. 29 also attended the England vs. New Zealand rugby match at Twickenham Stadium. She even joined a light training session with members of the England national team.
In a video from the session, Raducanu seemed to be having fun as two players lifted her in a lineout so she could catch the ball. One of the players, England prop Fin Baxter, later spoke about meeting her for the first time.

He said that the tennis star “was very good and caught the ball” and also mentioned how it was a learning opportunity for them. “The amount of pressure she is under because of how successful she is is definitely something we can all learn something from,” Baxter said.
The Brit Celebrated Her 23rd Birthday
Raducanu also celebrated her 23rd birthday on Nov 13. The Brit has kept most of her private life low-key in recent years, and this time she spent the special day with close friends in London.
On her Instagram post, she shared some sweet moments from the occasion. She was seen enjoying special cakes and cuisines in restaurants, visiting beautiful coastal spots, and spending time with her loved ones.

Raducanu captioned her birthday post, “Grateful for my 23 trips & having the best friends/family. Thank you for all the bday love 🤍🧁🌸”
Raducanu Bonded With Friends in London
Much of Raducanu’s November was spent in London, where she relaxed and caught up with friends. She shared glimpses of dinner outings, music shows, and snaps from the London Underground on her Instagram stories.

She captioned her stories with short, warm captions like “sw19 reunited <3,” “grateful 🖤,” and “just a little bit,” surrounded by the people and places she loves.
Raducanu Unveiled a New Look
Italian stylist Nicola Noviello recently revealed Raducanu’s new hairstyle, which he created for her. He captioned the post, “Italian hands, British elegance. ✂️✨ A fresh new look for @emmaraducanu, grazie for trusting me with your style!”

Raducanu replied, “You’re the best,” in the comments. Her new style comes at the end of what has been one of her best seasons since her breakout in 2021.
