Emma Raducanu Radiates Happiness During London Adventures With Friends That She’s ‘Grateful’ For

Emma Raducanu mentioned being "grateful" while spending time with friends in London ahead of the next season.

Emma Raducanu’s London adventure continues during her off-season. Since completing her 2025 tennis season, she has been spending time in the city following her participation in the Asian swing of the Tour. Her last tournament of the season was the 2025 Ningbo Open, where she lost in the first round to wild card Zhu Lin.

Emma Raducanu Spends Time With Friends in London

While in London, Raducanu has shared updates on how she has been spending her time. She celebrated her 23rd birthday on Nov. 13, 2025, and joined the England Rugby Union team for a training session. She also attended a rugby match between England and New Zealand’s All Blacks and even got a fresh haircut.

Recently, the former world No. 10 took to social media to share that she went on a dinner date with friends and attended a music show. She mentioned that she was “grateful” to be able to spend time with her loved ones. She also posted a picture of herself traveling on the London Underground.

“sw19 reunited <3,” Raducanu captioned her Instagram story.

“grateful 🖤,” she continued.

“just a little bit,” Raducanu added.

Raducanu’s best results this season were reaching the semifinals at the Citi DC Open, where she fell to eventual runner-up Anna Kalinskaya. Additionally, she had a quarterfinal run at the Miami Open and the Queen’s Club Championships.

Raducanu To Compete Next at United Cup 2026

After completing her 2025 season, Raducanu was scheduled to participate in two exhibition events: the “A Racquet at The Rock” event in Newark and the Miami Invitational. However, she withdrew from both events due to light bone bruising in her right foot and was replaced by Jessica Pegula.

Looking ahead, Raducanu is set to begin her 2026 season by representing Great Britain at the United Cup, which will take place from Jan. 2 to Jan. 11, 2026, at the RAC Arena and the Ken Rosewall Arena in Perth and Sydney, respectively.

Team Great Britain has been placed in Group E, alongside Team Greece and debutants Team Japan, with their matches scheduled to be held in Perth. In addition to Raducanu, the British team will consist of Jack Draper, Lloyd Glasspool, Billy Harris, Mimi Xu, and Olivia Nicholls.

Other countries participating at the 2026 United Cup include defending champions Team USA, Spain, and Argentina in Group A; Canada, Belgium, and China in Group B; Italy, France, and Switzerland in Group C; host country Australia, the Czech Republic, and Norway in Group D; and former champions Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands in Group F.
