Top WRs To Start in Week 7
Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers
Brandon Aiyuk didn’t have a monstrous performance in Week 6, but this San Francisco 49ers offense struggled against a stout Cleveland Browns defense.
The encouraging sign for Aiyuk moving forward was 10 targets with both Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey out of the lineup. That may very well be the case again here in Week 7, as they’re battling injuries.
In a plus matchup against the Minnesota Vikings secondary, Aiyuk belongs in starting lineups.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
After a blazing inferno start to his NFL career, Puka Nacua finally came back down to earth a little bit in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals, posting only 26 receiving yards.
However, the encouraging part for fantasy managers is that he still had seven targets, and Matthew Stafford just missed Nacua in the end zone early in that matchup, which would have drastically altered the receiver’s fantasy production.
Furthermore, the Los Angeles Rams ran the ball constantly in the second half. That is far from a certainty moving forward.
Nacua’s still a rock-solid start, and he belongs in starting lineups yet again in Week 7, especially factoring in how many players are unavailable on their bye week.
