In Week 14 of the NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys’ postseason hopes took a major hit after their 44-30 loss to the Detroit Lions. Cowboys’ playoff chances fell to 7.2% per PFSN’s Football Playoff Meter. Dallas’ playoff chances dropped to just 7.2%.
As we look ahead to Week 15, the Cowboys will face off against the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 14 at 8:20 p.m. EST. Here’s an update on how some key contributors for Dallas stand injury-wise.
Will CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs Play in Week 15 vs. Vikings?
On the team’s injury report, there are several players of note whose status could affect the team’s Week 15 game. Here’s how the injury report shapes up:
1) CeeDee Lamb
Lamb entered concussion protocol after taking a hit during the Cowboys’ loss to the Lions this past Thursday. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said on Monday that Lamb is “doing good” and “progressing nicely.”
This season, Lamb ranks eighth in PFSN’s Wide Receiver Impact (WRi) ranking with an impact score of 85.2. His status remains dependent on clearing the concussion protocol ahead of Week 15.
2) Tyler Guyton
Guyton missed all of last week’s practices with an ankle injury, logging three straight DNPs before being ruled out for Week 14. Guyton ranks 99th in PFSN’s Offensive Line Impact (OLi) with an impact score of 75.8 this season.
The 24-year-old offensive tackle is listed as questionable as he recovers from an ankle injury that has caused him to miss the last two games. Cowboys’ general manager Jerry Jones was optimistic about the former first-round pick’s return during Week 15.
“My thoughts are that he’ll be available,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM). “That’s just Dr. Jones, thinking he could be available, and I know how you need to take that information. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that he’ll be there.”

3) Trevon Diggs
Diggs logged three limited practices last week but was still ruled out after sustaining a knee injury due to an accident at home. He hasn’t featured for Dallas since Week 6.
Diggs logged three limited practices last week but was still ruled out. The veteran corner has not played since Week 6 after sustaining a knee injury due to an accident at home.
However, Schottenheimer stated Diggs is good to go for practice this week, according to Cowboys reporter Tommy Yarrish. GM Jones also shared his opinion on Diggs’ potential return.

“If he’s ready to go, has a week of practice and we got lot of eyes on him. If he likes what he sees, feels, if we like what we see about putting him out there,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan, as reported by ESPN’s Todd Archer.
4) Jadeveon Clowney
Clowney strained his hamstring last week and recorded two DNPs and had one limited practice before being listed as questionable. Later, he took part in pre-game warmups but was ultimately ruled out for the Lions matchup.
Clowney ranks 40th in PFSN’s EDGEi with an impact score of 78.4. He has recorded four sacks this season, second on the team behind James Houston’s 3.5.
With a 6-6-1 record in 2025 and sitting 10th in the NFC, the Cowboys now face an uphill battle to get back in the playoff race. Dallas will hope to win their remaining four games in the schedule against the Vikings, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Washington Commanders, and the New York Giants.
