Sterling Xie is a Research Analyst for Pro Football and Sports Network, specializing in Analytics on the Insights Team. Prior to joining PFSN in September 2024, Sterling worked in ESPN's Stats & Info department for eight years, with the last six being as a Production Researcher. He has researched studio shows including SportsCenter and NFL Live while supporting broadcasts including Monday Night Football and the NBA Finals. At PFSN, Sterling builds out PFSN's metrics and databases to support the website's tools around the NFL, College Football, NBA, WNBA, and more. He has also written about NFL and NBA storylines throughout his time at PFSN, using a combination of PFSN's metrics and data from TruMedia, Stathead, Next Gen Stats, and the NBA to provide data-driven analysis from on-field and fantasy perspectives. Sterling graduated from Hamilton College with an English Literature degree and has a Masters Degree in Strategic Analytics from Brandeis University.
