Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season has concluded, and there was plenty of movement at the quarterback position this week.
For one, Joe Flacco got traded from the Browns to the Bengals, suiting up for his new team just days after the trade. Dillon Gabriel now has a big enough sample size to make PFSN’s qualifications, and several incumbent starters saw their QBi grades change significantly.
PFSN has you covered with your QB rankings for the 2025 season, as our QBi metric puts a numerical value on how each one performs every week.
Note that these rankings only include the six games played this year, not any previous games from other seasons, or factoring into each player’s reputation. With Week 6 in the rearview mirror, let’s rank the top 38 quarterbacks in the NFL after another week of play.
38) Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 50.6 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 37
With the Cincinnati Bengals’ acquisition of Joe Flacco heading into Week 6, Jake Browning transitioned back into a backup role. Judging by how poorly he performed in relief of Joe Burrow, that’s probably for the best.
37) Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 52.9 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 36
Not even a matchup against the struggling Raiders could get Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans on track, as they fell to 1-5 with their loss on Sunday. Though they were the recipients of a few lucky bounces in their upset win over the Cardinals, they were unable to recapture that momentum in Week 6.
With Browning’s return to the bench, Ward now becomes the least-efficient starting quarterback in the NFL. Time will tell if the Titans’ decision to fire head coach Brian Callahan will provide a midseason spark for him.
36) J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 53.9 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 34
J.J. McCarthy missed Week 6 due to an ankle sprain. His QBi grade doesn’t change this week, but he drops a few spots with movement around him in the rankings.
35) Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 56.8 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 35
Upon his trade from the Browns to the Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Flacco stepped right back into a starting role in Week 6 after backing up Dillon Gabriel in Cleveland last week. The Bengals looked more efficient through the air with Flacco under center, but they still lost 27-18 to the Packers on the road.
Flacco still has a lot of work to do to get himself out of the bottom tier of starting quarterbacks. He has the third-lowest EPA per dropback of any quarterback on this list, and his 4.8 net yards per attempt is the third-lowest among the quarterbacks who are still starters, as of this writing.
34) Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 57.2 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: N/R
After starting his second NFL game on Sunday, Dillon Gabriel became eligible for the QBi rankings. However, the Cleveland Browns didn’t see an offensive boost with him at quarterback, as they only scored nine points in their loss to the Steelers in Week 6.
Off of an admittedly small sample size, Gabriel has the lowest net yards per attempt average in the NFL at just 4.3. He has a negative EPA per dropback average and has only converted on 27.6% of his third-down conversion attempts.
33) Tyrod Taylor, New York Jets
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 58.6 (F)
Last Week’s Ranking: 32
With Justin Fields having returned to the New York Jets’ lineup, Tyrod Taylor rode the bench again in Week 6. His QBi grade doesn’t change.
32) Russell Wilson, New York Giants
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 63.2 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 30
Russell Wilson sat behind rookie Jaxson Dart for the New York Giants’ Week 6 matchup, and head coach Brian Daboll says that will remain the case for the rest of the season.
31) Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 64.8 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 31
Bryce Young isn’t an entirely bad starting NFL quarterback — he’s just wildly inconsistent. He threw another interception on Sunday, giving him five picks in six starts. But he also threw for three touchdowns and helped propel the Carolina Panthers to a 30-27 victory over the Cowboys.
2026 NFL Draft Order: Jets, Ravens Among Teams in the Mix for No. 1 Pick After Week 6
Young’s penchant for turning the ball over ranks him 32nd in average EPA per dropback of the 38 quarterbacks on this list. That said, he’s tied for eighth in the NFL with ten passing touchdowns and has helped the Panthers to a .500 record heading into Week 7, which is miles ahead of where the team has been in recent years.
30) Justin Fields, New York Jets
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 66.1 (D)
Last Week’s Ranking: 20
Any time your quarterback finishes with negative net passing yards for an entire game, it’s going to be tough to win a game. That’s what happened with the New York Jets on Sunday, as Justin Fields ended with -10 net passing yards. He was sacked nine times and completed just nine passes in their loss to the Broncos.
Of the quarterbacks on this list, Fields is one of just three players without an interception thrown this season. He also remains one of the best athletes at his position in the NFL, but he ranks near the bottom in EPA per dropback, net yards per attempt, third-down conversion rate, and he’s remained woefully inefficient outside of garbage time.
29) Spencer Rattler, New Orleans Saints
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 69.1 (D+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 29
Spencer Rattler stays right where he was last week after a decent but unspectacular outing in the New Orleans Saints’ loss to the Patriots on Sunday. He completed 76.9% of his passes with 227 yards and no interceptions, but he also didn’t throw any touchdowns.
Of the quarterbacks to have started every game they’ve played, only Ward has fewer passing touchdowns than Rattler. But his 68.5% completion percentage isn’t bad, and he’s only thrown one interception all year. He comes in 23rd in the NFL with 0.03 EPA per dropback.
28) Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 69.9 (D+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 28
It’s been a very good year for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Trevor Lawrence isn’t doing much to elevate them any further. They lost their second game of the year in a close battle with the Seahawks in Week 6, and Lawrence comes out of it in the same spot in PFSN’s QBi rankings as he was the week before.
With an EPA per dropback of 0.01, Lawrence is just barely an asset for the Jaguars’ passing attack at this stage. He ranks 11th with 1,324 passing yards, as of this writing, but he’s also thrown five interceptions in six starts. His 61.1% completion percentage needs to get better, too.
27) Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 70.8 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 33
Slowly but surely, the emergence of Jaxson Dart has provided new hope for the New York Giants’ organization. He’s a rookie, so there are obviously plenty of growing pains with his tape, but he’s led the team to two wins in three starts, and he climbs up six spots in the QBi rankings after a solid outing in their win over the Eagles on Thursday night.
Similar to Lawrence, Dart is barely above replacement level in terms of EPA per dropback at 0.01, but he already has the third-best conversion rate on third downs in the NFL at 55.9%, showing early that he can extend drives in key passing situations. He also has 167 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground, to boot.
26) Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 72.3 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 27
Check back for updates on Jayden Daniels’ grade after the Commanders’ Monday Night Football showdown with the Chicago Bears.
25) C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 72.6 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 24
The Houston Texans had their bye week in Week 6, so C.J. Stroud’s QBi grade remains the same as last week. A brutal start to the season has affected his metrics to this point, but he came into the bye with two solid outings in a row. If he keeps that momentum up, he’ll rise back up these rankings.
24) Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 72.5 (C-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 25
Through six games this season, Geno Smith has thrown a whopping ten interceptions, and he reached double-digits after throwing a pick against the Titans on Sunday. That said, he was able to lead the Las Vegas Raiders to a win and had a season-best completion percentage of 73.9%.
2025 NFL MVP Race: Baker Mayfield, Dak Prescott Make Their Cases for Most Prestigious Award
With Smith’s proclivity to turn the ball over, it’s no surprise he has a negative EPA per dropback average. He also ranks 35th among 38 qualified QBs with a -0.65 EPA per dropback under pressure. That said, he’s tied for ninth in the NFL in third-down conversion rate and ranks tenth in passing yards going into MNF.
23) Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 74.8 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 23
Kyler Murray missed Week 6 due to a foot injury, so his QBi ranking doesn’t change. Jacoby Brissett started in his place in the Arizona Cardinals’ loss to the Colts on Sunday.
22) Michael Penix Jr., Atlanta Falcons
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.0 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 22
Check back for updates on Michael Penix Jr.’s grade after the Falcons’ Monday Night Football matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
21) Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh Steelers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.2 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 26
Aaron Rodgers climbs up the rankings a few spots after playing a clean game in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the Browns on Sunday. He threw for two touchdowns and no interceptions, tallying 235 passing yards with a 70.0% completion percentage in the process.
At this stage in his career, the Steelers aren’t looking for Rodgers to be the MVP-level playmaker he was with the Packers. Rather, they’re looking for him to be a serviceable stop-gap starter to complement a roster that’s ready to win now. Pittsburgh is 4-1 currently, which, combined with Rodgers’ QBi ranking, indicates the plan is working so far.
20) Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.7 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 19
After taking on a light workload in the Philadelphia Eagles’ first four games, Jalen Hurts has surpassed 30 passing attempts in consecutive weeks after doing so only once in the first four weeks. Unfortunately for him and the Eagles, both of those aforementioned games with a heavier workload have been losses for Philadelphia.
Whether or not the two facts are correlated is up for debate. But with an EPA of -0.03 per dropback, Hurts is the only quarterback in the top 20 spots with a negative average in that category. His efficiency as a runner and having just one interception to his name help a bit, but he isn’t doing much to elevate Philadelphia so far this season.
19) Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 75.8 (C)
Last Week’s Ranking: 18
The Denver Broncos came away from London with a narrow win over the Jets on Sunday, and Fields’ poor performance took a lot of the spotlight after the game. It overshadowed the play of Bo Nix, who wasn’t as bad but didn’t necessarily look impressive out there. He drops a spot in the QBi rankings after failing to reach 200 yards this week.
Nix has been remarkably average this year, as his ranking would indicate. He’s not in the bottom ten in such categories as EPA per dropback, net yards per attempt, average EPA under pressure, passing yards, passing touchdowns, or passer rating. However, he’s not in the top ten of any of those categories, either.
18) Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 77.5 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 21
An underwhelming three-game stretch saw Justin Herbert’s QBi grade tank, but his Week 6 outing got him to climb back up the rankings a few spots. In the Los Angeles Chargers’ win over the Dolphins, he threw for 264 yards with two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a stellar 76.3% completion percentage.
After two games with completion percentages in the 50s, Herbert has strung together two games with rates above 70%. He also finished a game without an interception for the first time since Week 2. The consistency hasn’t been there early in the season for Herbert, but the talent makes it possible that he evens out as the season progresses.
17) Mac Jones, San Francisco 49ers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 78.1 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 12
With Brock Purdy still dealing with injuries, the San Francisco 49ers went back to the Mac Jones well one more time for their game against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Though he’s been perfectly capable of game-managing Kyle Shanahan’s offense this year, that wasn’t so much the case in Week 6. He threw two interceptions and no touchdowns in a loss.
2025 NFL Playoff Picture and Bracket: Patriots Remain Red Hot, While Ravens Lose Again
In his four starts, Jones is averaging an absurd 313 passing yards per game. In a clean pocket, he’s tied for ninth in the NFL in EPA per dropback. That said, he’s far less efficient under pressure and has shown he can only handle the steering wheel of the proverbial bus, as opposed to also hitting the gas.
16) Carson Wentz, Minnesota Vikings
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 78.7 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 16
The Minnesota Vikings had their bye week in Week 6, meaning that Carson Wentz’s QBi grade doesn’t change this time around. He’s been perfectly serviceable in relief of the injured J.J. McCarthy, and as made evident by PFSN’s grading, Wentz has actually outperformed him.
15) Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 79.1 (C+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 15
Check back for updates on Caleb Williams’ grade after the Bears’ Monday Night Football game against the Washington Commanders.
14) Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 80.2 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 17
The Kansas City Chiefs picked up the signature win they had been missing on Sunday night, defeating the Lions to get back to 3-3 for the 2025 NFL season. Patrick Mahomes played a big role in that win, throwing for three touchdowns and 257 yards with no interceptions and a 132.2 passer rating.
Though Mahomes has been pretty average by analytical standards, he’s ninth in the NFL with 0.34 EPA per dropback in close-game situations. He also ranks ninth in EPA per dropback under pressure, and that clutch gene should come in handy as the Chiefs’ season progresses.
13) Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 80.7 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 14
The Miami Dolphins’ season continues to unravel after their loss to the Chargers on Sunday, dropping them to 1-5 this year. Tua Tagovailoa did enough to keep his team competitive, but the glaring appearance of three interceptions in the stat sheet makes one wonder if Miami would’ve won had he been more careful with the ball.
Going into MNF, Tagovailoa is tied for fifth in the NFL with 11 passing touchdowns. He’s also thrown seven interceptions in six games, which is a turnover rate that isn’t sustainable if the Dolphins are to turn this season around. His impressive highs and dizzying lows mean he ranks middle of the pack in practically every analytical category in PFSN’s database.
12) Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 82.6 (B-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 10
Coming out of Week 6, Matthew Stafford is still the NFL’s leading passer with 1,684 yards. That said, he didn’t do too much to add cushion to that lead on Sunday, as he threw for just 181 yards and one touchdown against the Ravens. He falls slightly in the QBi rankings, but he did enough to lead the Los Angeles Rams to a victory, anyway.
As of this writing, Stafford ranks eighth in EPA at the end of the first half, showing he puts the Rams in a good position more often than not heading into halftime. He’s also tied for seventh in the NFL with 7.7 net yards per attempt, and he’s tied for third in the league with 12 passing touchdowns.
11) Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 83.5 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 11
With Jayden Daniels back from injury, Marcus Mariota finds himself back on the Commanders’ bench. They have to feel pretty good about having a high-quality backup QB given how well the veteran played in Daniels’ absence, though.
10) Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 84.6 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 13
Baker Mayfield continues to be one of the more impressive quarterbacks in the NFL today. He helped lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to 5-1 on Sunday after their decisive win over the 49ers. Despite missing several key contributors around him due to injury, he threw for 256 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 139.0 passer rating.
Buccaneers WR Depth Chart: Which Receivers Are Left for Tampa Bay After Emeka Egbuka, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin Injuries?
With 12 passing touchdowns to just one interception, Mayfield has the best TD:INT ratio of any full-time starter in the NFL so far. He ranks sixth in EPA per dropback and remains the second-most efficient passer under pressure in the league after Week 6. If he can improve his efficiency on third and fourth downs, he’ll cement himself as an MVP favorite.
9) Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 85.9 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 6
Going into Monday night, Jared Goff leads the NFL with 14 passing touchdowns. Though the Detroit Lions lost to the Chiefs on Sunday, he helped extend that lead with two more passing touchdowns, not throwing a pick in the process. Still, his 203 passing yards were the sixth-fewest yards he’s thrown in a single game since 2023.
Ultimately, Goff performed inoffensively enough to stay in the top ten of PFSN’s QBi rankings. His 0.58 EPA per dropback in a clean pocket ranks third in the NFL. At this stage in his career, he’s a safe bet to lead an efficient offense with accurate passes, assuming his offensive line holds up.
8) Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 86.1 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 4
Though he falls down a few spots in the rankings, Sam Darnold still had a decent outing in the Seattle Seahawks’ win over the Jaguars on Sunday. He threw for 295 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, which helped propel his team to victory. He slips a little bit due to a subpar 59.3% completion percentage, though.
Darnold is still tied for fourth in the NFL in EPA per dropback, and he’s the sixth-most efficient passer in the league under pressure through Week 6. He’s middle of the pack in terms of third-down conversion rate, but he’s generally been quite strong in his first year with the Seahawks.
7) Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 86.6 (B)
Last Week’s Ranking: 7
Lamar Jackson missed Week 6 due to a hamstring injury, leaving Cooper Rush to start for the Baltimore Ravens in his absence. Considering they fell to 1-5 this Sunday, the hope is that Jackson returns after their Week 7 bye to prevent their season from falling apart even further.
6) Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 87.6 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 8
The Dallas Cowboys’ defense isn’t giving Dak Prescott much leeway this year, so the fact that they’ve still been competitive in a lot of their games shows just how good he has been at quarterback in 2025. He threw for three touchdowns, 261 yards, and no interceptions on Sunday, but the Cowboys still lost to the Panthers after giving up 30 points.
It’s been a frustrating year for Cowboys fans, but at least Prescott looks as good as ever. He’s the fourth-best passer under pressure by his EPA average, and he has the sixth-best EPA in the league in late-game situations. Dallas can count on their quarterback to keep them in games; it’s just a matter of whether their defense costs it for them or not.
5) Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 89.0 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 5
Save for a disastrous interception, Jordan Love was generally pretty solid in the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Bengals on Sunday. He threw for 259 passing yards and a touchdown on a 73.3% completion percentage, notably averaging an impressive average of 10.0 yards per passing attempt.
With a 52% conversion rate, Love is the fourth-most efficient quarterback on third down in the NFL. His 8.1 net yards per attempt tie for third in the league, and his 70.1% completion percentage ranks ninth. It’s been a pretty strong season for Love as he looks to solidify himself as one of the top passers in the game.
4) Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 89.1 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 3
Due to his turf toe injury that’s been affecting him throughout the season, Brock Purdy missed the 49ers’ Week 6 matchup.
3) Drake Maye, New England Patriots
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 89.3 (B+)
Last Week’s Ranking: 9
Through the first six weeks, the New England Patriots are showing significant improvement with a 4-2 record, already tying their win total for 2024. A big part of their resurgence has been the play of Drake Maye, who is quickly proving himself as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL this year.

Among other categories, Maye ranks second in completion percentage, fifth in passing yards, second in net yards per attempt, tied for seventh in EPA per dropback, eighth in clutch sum, and tied for eighth in passing touchdowns. It’s been a tremendous start to Year 2 for the former North Carolina quarterback.
2) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 90.3 (A-)
Last Week’s Ranking: 2
Check back for updates on Josh Allen’s grade after the Bills’ Monday Night Football game in Atlanta against the Falcons.
1) Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
2025 PFSN QBi Grade: 96.8 (A)
Last Week’s Ranking: 1
For the fourth week in a row, Daniel Jones remains at the top of PFSN’s QBi grading scale. He kept that momentum up with another solid game in the Indianapolis Colts’ win over the Cardinals on Sunday. Though he threw an interception, he also had two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, 212 passing yards, and a 73.0% completion rate.
So far this year, Jones ranks in at least the top ten in practically every major analytical passing category that PFSN has. His efficiency as a passer and reliability as a rushing threat have been the key catalysts in the Colts’ breakout season in 2025. He’s not just a flash in the pan now; he’s a serious MVP candidate now.
