Which Team Has the Best Chance To Land the Top Pick?

PFSN’s Playoff Predictor not only predicts the playoff picture and Super Bowl winner, it also predicts which team will land the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

This week brought plenty of movement on that front, however, with some unexpected results all across the NFL landscape. That trend began during the Thursday Night Football game that kicked off the Week 6 slate.

In one of the biggest upsets of the season, the New York Giants were able to pull out the win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Not only did they secure the second victory of Jaxson Dart’s career, but they did it without wide receivers Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton and in dominating fashion, upending the defending champions by a 34-17 score.

The next surprise came on Sunday, when the Carolina Panthers pushed their record to 3-3 by beating the Dallas Cowboys, 30-27. Bryce Young put together an impressive performance, completing 17 of 25 passes for 199 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Ranked 31st in PFSN’s QB Impact before the game, his performance gave him a deserved boost up the NFL hierarchy.

Leading a last-minute drive, Young set up Carolina for a game-winning field goal, handing Dallas its third loss of the season while booting his Panthers out of the top 10 in terms of teams with the highest odds to land the first overall pick.

Following Sunday afternoon’s results, here are the teams with the best chance of securing the top pick:

  • New York Jets, 28.6%
  • Cleveland Browns, 15.2%
  • Tennessee Titans, 14.2%
  • New Orleans Saints, 10.4%
  • Miami Dolphins, 9.2%
  • Baltimore Ravens, 7.1%
  • Cincinnati Bengals, 4.0%
  • Las Vegas Raiders, 3.3%
  • Dallas Cowboys, 2.8%
  • New York Giants, 1.9%
  • Arizona Cardinals, 1.6%
