Top RBs To Draft in 2023

    Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns

Nick Chubb has been one of the most consistent fantasy football RBs over the last several seasons. While other players have been in and out of lineups or have failed to meet expectations, Chubb’s been a rock for fantasy managers.

To put into perspective just how solid the veteran RB has been, Chubb has averaged 89.8 rushing yards per game since the 2021 season, which is third best of 32 qualified NFL running backs.

He may not see the receiving work that’s needed to push him over the top to compete for the overall RB1 title in fantasy football, but Chubb’s going to be a safe selection in the first two rounds of your draft.

    Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears

Khalil Herbert may not be the flashiest name to go after in your fantasy football drafts, but he’s incredibly underrated and set up to smash expectations in 2023.

The talent level is undeniable for the former Virginia Tech RB. Herbert’s proven that he’s one of the most explosive ball carriers in the NFL today, but the presence of David Montgomery has hindered him from reaching his true ceiling.

This year, Montgomery’s now playing for Chicago’s division rival, and Herbert’s main competition is Roschon Johnson and D’Onta Foreman. Neither can do what Herbert can do from an efficiency standpoint, and we know that Chicago’s offense wants to run the football.

At his current ADP, Herbert can be added as a Flex option or solid depth. If he hits the way that I’m anticipating him to, you’ll be able to plug him into your starting lineup every week, or you can trade him away as a part of a package deal for a top-tier fantasy asset.
