WNBA Games Today: When Is the Next Playoff Game? Complete Schedule, Dates, Times, More

The semifinals of the 2025 WNBA playoffs are currently underway with four teams vying for the two spots in the Finals. The Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever meet for an all-important Game 3, as do the Minnesota Lynx and the Phoenix Mercury.

The WNBA playoffs calendar is structured so that teams get substantial time between games to manage travel and practice. The four teams in contention last played on Tuesday (September 23) and will next meet on Friday for their Game 3s.

When Is the Next 2025 WNBA Playoff Game? Complete Schedule and More

The upcoming slate of games promises to be explosive encounters. The Fever stunned the Aces in Game 1, but were overpowered by MVP A’ja Wilson and co. in the second game.

The Aces look to win their third WNBA championship in four seasons, but they will have to contend with a determined Caitlin Clark-less Fever, who have been thoroughly impressive despite the superstar guard’s absence.

The Lynx, led by Napheesa Collier, has been considered a favorite to win the title. However, despite their solid win in Game 1, the Mercury’s gritty Game 2 performance saw the latter fight to stay alive. With the semifinals comprising five games, each team will look to seal the series without stretching to a Game 5.

While a Collier vs. Wilson Finals is the most expected outcome, the Fever and Mercury have been impressive this season, punching well above their weight. While Indiana put away the Atlanta Dream in the first round, Phoenix sent defending champions New York Liberty packing.

They have been pleasant surprises this edition, and it will be interesting to see if one or both can shock the potential favorites to punch a ticket to the Finals.

Here’s a quick look at the remainder of the semifinals schedule for the four teams:
