4-Time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson Dominates Trivia Game About Her Boyfriend, Heat Star Bam Adebayo

Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson was put to the test about her knowledge when it came to her boyfriend, Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo.

For those WNBA fans who follow Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson closely, they know that her boyfriend is Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo. Wilson and Adebayo have been dating for more than three years, so they probably have a good idea about each other.

But does Wilson really know all there is to know about Adebayo? Her knowledge of her NBA boyfriend was recently put to the test.

Aces’ A’ja Wilson Faces Trivia Test on Heat’s Bam Adebayo

Wilson has been known to show up at Heat games, sitting in the front row and cheering on Adebayo and the Heat.

On Friday, Wilson was put on the spot by Maddy, who is a hoops enthusiast and known as the WAGTalk Girl. Maddy peppered Wilson with a number of questions.

“What year was he drafted?” Maddy asked. “2017,” Wilson replied, which was correct. “What pick number was he?” “14,” Wilson said which, again, was right on the button. “How many times has he been an All-Star?” Maddy asked. “I want to say three,” Wilson said and, yet again, it was a correct answer.

“What All-Star event has he won?” “Skills,” Wilson replied. Yep, right again. “How many times has he played in the NBA Finals?” Maddy asked. “I want to say twice,” Wilson said. Bingo, right again. “Which state was he Mr. Basketball for?” Maddy asked Wilson, who replied, “North Carolina.” There’s a pattern here with Wilson being right all the time.

“What year was he a McDonald’s All-American?” Maddy asked. “He’s younger than me,” Wilson said. “He calls me a cougar. So if I was 18, I hope he was, I mean if I was 14, he has to be 13-ish. 2016. Damn, 16? Oh, oh wait. McDonald’s is high school.” “Yes,” Maddy said. “It’s like senior high school.” “Oh my God,” Wilson replied.

Both Maddy and Wilson went back and forth with some other trivia questions about Adebayo. How’s Adebayo doing this season with the Heat? He’s averaging 18.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game and shooting 44.3% from the floor.

Wilson, who was part of the Aces’ WNBA Championship team in 2025, averaged 23.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. She’s also a four-time WNBA MVP, too.

Adebayo’s Heat lost a tough one on Friday night, seeing the Boston Celtics rally from being 22 points down to beat Miami 98-96.

While the game didn’t go like Wilson wanted it to go for her boyfriend, the couple probably understands that the pro game has its ups and downs.
