Who is the National Anthem Singer for TNF?

Detroit announced that it will air a halftime show for those in attendance on Thursday–a performance by the historic group, The Temptations. With the local R&B group taking center stage halfway through the tilt, it will be Jessica Vosk kicking things off with the national anthem.

“Jessica Vosk, fresh off her run starring in Broadway’s HELLS KITCHEN, will perform our national anthem ahead of kickoff.

“She is currently on tour with her celebrated holiday album, SLEIGH, and can be seen on Amazon Prime’s hit show Hazbin Hotel. Vosk is a celebrated singer and actress known for electrifying roles on musical theatre and concert stages alike,” wrote Lions’ Digital Media Coordinator, Hunter Leach.

Ford Field’s Instagram account posted the news, much to the delight of plenty of fans in the comment section.

Several Instagram users responded saying things like, “The absolute best choice,” and “Those in attendance will be so lucky!!!! @JessicaVosk is the best!”

With an unmistakable buzz and excitement surrounding the performance, how will the Lions and Cowboys follow up the act?

Lions-Cowboys Shaping Up To Be Enormous Game

As previously mentioned, this Lions-Cowboys tilt will have massive implications for the 2026 postseason, given each team currently sits outside the NFC playoff picture.

For Detroit, they hope to get back to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who is currently listed as questionable after sustaining a sprained ankle a week ago. Whether or not Detroit’s WR1 goes, the Lions will likely need to rely on their strong run game once again, as they face a defense that struggles against the run.

Using PFSN’s Defense Impact metric, we see Dallas land 31st, ahead of just the Cincinnati Bengals and their historically poor defense. The Cowboys have allowed 13 rushing touchdowns this season, ranking them 23rd in such a statistic.

With Jahmyr Gibbs landing in the top five running backs using PFSN’s RB Impact metric, the Cowboys must find a way to contain what could be a game-breaking run scheme.

On the other hand, Dallas will look to utilize their incredibly effective pass game to break apart Detroit’s defense. The Cowboys rank third on PFSN’s Offense Impact metric with an 87.2 impact score.

Aside from Joe Milton III’s six completions, Dak Prescott has led the way, powering the electrifying pass game. With 3,255 pass yards and 26 passing TDs, the Cowboys rank first and second in the respective categories.

Detroit comes in at 7-5, while Dallas enters with a 6-5-1 record, making it a mere must-win for both clubs. The kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET, with Jessica Vosk’s performance of the national anthem set to take place just minutes beforehand.
