Tampa Bay has a big game coming up on Sunday against Drake Maye and the New England Patriots. Without two of his key receivers on the field, Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield will have to turn to others.
According to Bucs Gameday editor River Wells, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday that “Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin are ‘coming along’ and working on rehab in the morning – he says that it’s ‘possible’ they return to practice but that ‘we’ll see what tomorrow brings.'”
In the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, Tampa Bay has an Offense Impact Score of 71.4 and grades out at C-. If the Bucs can get Irving and Godwin back soon, then those numbers might improve.
