Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has guided the team to a 3-1 start in the new campaign after a disappointing 2024 NFL season. He missed seven games due to injury. But the end of that season brought a new kind of joy: The birth of his daughter, Shae.
Since then, Lawrence and his wife, Marissa, have been enjoying their time as first-time parents, often sharing glimpses of their family life on social media.

Trevor Lawrence’s Wife Shares Special Family Moment
Over the weekend, Marissa posted a heartwarming clip on her Instagram Story showing nine-month-old Shae spending time with her grandfathers. In the video, Trevor’s father, Jeremy Lawrence, holds Shae as she giggles and plays with his hat, a moment Marissa lovingly captioned, “Grandpa & Papa.”
The sweet update came just ahead of a big week for the Lawrence family, as Trevor prepares to celebrate his 26th birthday on Monday, which also happens to fall on Monday Night Football when the Jaguars host the Kansas City Chiefs.

Trevor and Marissa’s story goes back to their high school days in Georgia. The pair stayed together through college, as the former Clemson quarterback proposed before his final season with the Tigers. They tied the knot on April 10, 2021, just weeks before he was selected No. 1 overall by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft.

Notably, Marissa was also a collegiate athlete. She played women’s soccer for the Anderson University Trojans, playing nine games during her sophomore season in 2018.
Marissa Surprised Trevor With an Early Birthday
Before the big game, Marissa ensured a celebration for her husband’s birthday. Earlier in the week, she surprised Trevor with a party, sharing a few fleeting glimpses of the evening on her Instagram Story before the posts expired.
The quarterback later told reporters that the best birthday present would be simple: A win under the lights: “100% get a win on Monday Night Football, that would be a great birthday gift,” Lawrence said.
Beating the Kansas City Chiefs, however, won’t come easily. The Chiefs have won back-to-back games and also hold a 3-0 record against Lawrence in head-to-head matchups. In this season, both teams are not very different from each other in offense. According to PFSN’s Offense Impact (OFFi), both teams are graded C+, with Jacksonville doing slightly better than Kansas regarding Offense Impact Score (78.2 and 77.4, respectively).
The ultimate gift for the Jaguars’ star quarterback as he turns 26 would be breaking that streak and finally earning a Monday Night Football win against Patrick Mahomes’ side.
