Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka Take Part in a Fun New Challenge

Most recently, Sinner participated in the 2025 Terra Wortmann Open in Halle, where he was the defending champion. He began his campaign with a victory over Yannick Hanfmann in the first round but was defeated by the eventual champion, Alexander Bublik, in the second round.

Meanwhile, Sabalenka competed at the 2025 Berlin Tennis Open, where she advanced to the semifinals before being eliminated by the eventual champion, Markéta Vondroušová.

Following their respective tournaments in Halle and Berlin, Sinner and Sabalenka traveled to London for the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

The official social media page of the London Major recently shared an entertaining video featuring both players engaging in a lighthearted challenge. In this fun activity, a tennis ball tube was placed in front of each player, and their opponent had to hit the ball toward the tube to knock it over.

In the end, Sabalenka was the one who successfully struck the tube positioned in front of Sinner, securing victory for her team. As a result of their loss, Sinner’s team had to do several push-ups.

Before beginning their grass court season, Sinner and Sabalenka competed at the 2025 French Open, where both finished as runners-up, falling to Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff, respectively, in the finals.

Sinner and Sabalenka’s Best Results at Wimbledon

Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka’s best result at the Wimbledon Championships has been reaching the semifinals. While Sinner made it to the final four only once, in 2023, the Belarusian accomplished this feat twice, in 2021 and 2023.

In 2021, Sabalenka entered the grass court Major as the second seed and began her campaign with a victory over Monica Niculescu in the first round and then overcame Katie Boulter in the second round. She then registered a win against Camila Osorio and Elena Rybakina in the third and fourth rounds, respectively, to secure her place in the quarterfinals.

In the last eight, the World No. 1 defeated Ons Jabeur before her run at the tournament came to an end in the semifinals when she lost to the eventual runner-up, Karolína Plíšková.

Fast forward to the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, Sabalenka defeated the likes of Panna Udvardy, Varvara Gracheva, Anna Blinkova, and Ekaterina Alexandrova in the first four rounds. She then triumphed over Madison Keys in the quarterfinals and then fell to Jabeur in the semifinals.

Sinner then overcame Quentin Halys in the third round and Daniel Elahi Galán in the fourth round to secure his place in the quarterfinals. There, he eliminated Roman Safiullin, but his run concluded in the semifinals when he lost to the seven-time Wimbledon champion, Novak Djokovic.
