Preparations for the 2026 Wimbledon Championships are underway in full swing, with Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, and Emma Raducanu all landing at the All England Club ahead of the third Grand Slam of the year.
Djokovic and Sabalenka were seen enjoying a heartwarming reunion on the Wimbledon grounds as they both look to end their Grand Slam droughts.
Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, and Emma Raducanu Arrive at Wimbledon
The start of the 2026 Wimbledon Championships is just one week away, and several big names have already arrived at SW19 to ramp up their preparations for the tournament.
Djokovic had his first practice session at the All England Club and also caught up with his good friend Sabalenka. The two were seen having a brief discussion at Aorangi Park before getting back to their respective workouts.
The 39-year-old is a seven-time champion at Wimbledon and will have his sights set on finally clinching a record 25th Grand Slam in three weeks’ time.
Djokovic decided not to play in any warm-up tournaments in the lead-up to Wimbledon, and it will be interesting to see how he fares on grass after a mixed start to 2026.
Sabalenka, a four-time Grand Slam champion and current world No. 1 in women’s singles, has never made the Wimbledon final and will be eager to change that this year. The Belarusian was beaten by Jessica Pegula in the semifinals of the Berlin Tennis Open last week and was also given a scare by 20-year-old Nikola Bartůňková.
Grass is by no means Sabalenka’s favorite surface, and she heads to Wimbledon amid some uncertainty in her form after a disappointing clay-court swing by her high standards.

Djokovic and Sabalenka have formed a close friendship over the years and have also engaged in hilarious social media banter in recent months.
Raducanu was also seen arriving at Wimbledon and taking part in her first practice session ahead of the Grand Slam. The 2021 US Open champion enjoyed an encouraging run at the HSBC Championships, defeating Sorana Cîrstea and Iva Jovic en route to the final.

The 23-year-old, who has never made it past the fourth round at Wimbledon, will hope to build on her recent upturn in form in the coming weeks.
The 2026 Wimbledon Championships will get underway on Monday, June 29. The draw for the first round will be made on Friday.
