Just hours after the Laver Cup closing ceremony, Alcaraz landed in Tokyo to compete at the highly anticipated ATP 500 event in Japan.
In a video shared by Tennis TV’s official Instagram channel, the Spaniard was seen moving out of his luxurious black vehicle, where the tournament organisers waited to welcome him. While sharing a customary handshake, he later expressed his feelings for the Eastern Capital.
“I’m happy to be here,” the six-time Grand Slam champion said.

During this time of the year back in 2024, Alcaraz was seen competing at the China Open, where he defeated Jannik Sinner in the final to claim the title.
The Spaniard will begin his campaign in the first round of the 2025 Japan Open on September 25, playing against Sebastian Báez.
