The 2025 NFL season is here, and with it comes the trials and tribulations of fantasy football. With the football calendar heating up, our rankings team has compiled its complete rankings to help you make informed decisions.

Top Players to Target in PFSN’s 2025 Redraft Fantasy Football Kicker Rankings

Tyler Loop, Baltimore Ravens (at CLE)

Admittedly, it feels like point chasing to recommend a kicker who just made four field goals. However, it’s important to understand why Tyler Loop attempted five kicks last week. The Vikings have a good defense. They were good enough to stop the Ravens from scoring a touchdown on every possession, but it’s impossible to completely shut down Lamar Jackson.

This week is a very similar situation with the Ravens on the road in Cleveland. For all of the Browns’ struggles, they’ve been very good defensively. But, much like the Vikings, they are not going to erase Jackson and Derrick Henry. That’s why even amidst their low-scoring defensive contests, the Browns have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to kickers.

Loop is making 89% of his field goals and has missed only one extra point all season. He is a safe bet for multiple field goal attempts this week.

Eddy Pineiro, San Francisco 49ers (at ATL)

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Eddy Pineiro. After attempting multiple field goals in each of his first six games since signing with the 49ers, Pineiro has not attempted a single kick in two of his last three games. On a positive note, Pineiro is still a good kicker. He’s yet to miss a field goal this season (although he has missed two extra points). With the 49ers coming off a blowout loss to the Rams, they should rebound this week.

They haven’t lost two in a row all season. In fact, they’ve alternated wins and losses since Week 2. The Cardinals allow the fifth-most fantasy points per game to kickers. They are the perfect type of defense that is good enough to keep the 49ers out of the end zone every drive, but soft enough to allow them into scoring position. It also doesn’t hurt that weather won’t be an issue.

How Are PFSN’s Redraft Fantasy Rankings Calculated?

These fantasy football rankings are a consensus of our Fantasy Analysts. Each ranks the player individually, and then, using the average, we create a consensus, offering you multiple options to consider. No matter how you have started your season, there is plenty of time to change things, but the only way to do that is with smart decisions and exploiting opportunities. Our rankings team has over 30 years of fantasy football experience, and as a result, you get a wide breadth and depth of knowledge in our rankings.

FAQ

Should You Stream Kickers Weekly in Fantasy Football?

Streaming kickers weekly is a solid approach in fantasy football, as kicker scoring is unpredictable and the gap between the top and average performers is minimal. Rather than committing to one kicker for the season, targeting available players with favorable matchups, such as teams with high projected point totals, strong offenses, and favorable game conditions, often yields better returns and lets you maximize your roster flexibility. While accurate projections and matchup research are required, streaming lets you adapt week-to-week and squeeze the most points from a volatile position
