Broncos Injury Report: 2 Key Starters’ Status for Packers Showdown

The Denver Broncos' final injury report for the week is out. So, we now have a better understanding of who will be in and out in Week 15.

Extra, extra, read all about it. The Denver Broncos’ final injury report for the week is out. So, we have a better understanding of who will be in and who will be out in Week 15. As predicted, wide receiver Pat Bryant would’ve had to practice at least on a limited basis on Friday to have a chance to play this week. More on that below, while there are two surprises on the injury report as well. Let’s go.

Pat Bryant

Bryant didn’t practice on Friday, meaning he won’t play in Week 15. He is No. 79 in PFSN’s WR Impact Score, totaling 22 receptions on 36 targets for 305 yards and a touchdown. In Bryant’s absence, look for fellow wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. to occupy the former’s offensive snaps. And look for slot wide receiver Troy Franklin to consolidate the targets behind Courtland Sutton as well. Bryant, who is dealing with a hamstring injury, has 22 targets in his last five games.

Ben Powers

After logging three consecutive limited practices this week, Powers won’t play in Week 15. He’ll have the next 21 days from Wednesday to officially be activated from injured reserve. Week 16, though, looks like a real possibility for Powers to reenter the starting lineup. The Broncos’ offensive line is No. 3 in PFSN’s Team Offensive Line Impact Score, while Powers, dealing with a biceps injury, totals a 77.7 Offensive Line Impact Score.

D.J. Jones

Jones doesn’t have a game status designation entering Week 15. He logged three consecutive full practices this week. Jones is No. 57 in PFSN’s DT Impact Score, totaling 322 defensive snaps, two sacks, four QB hits, 23 total tackles, and three tackles for loss. He’ll help out in the run game. The Packers’ offense, and running back Josh Jacobs, are No. 14 in the league in rushing offense (117.2 rushing yards per game).

Nate Adkins

Adkins practiced in full on Friday after logging back-to-back limited practices to start the week. He’ll be the No. 3 tight end in Week 15, with fellow tight end Marcedes Lewis being waived, going unclaimed, and reverting to the practice squad. The former doesn’t have a game status designation this week.

Mike McGlinchey

McGlinchey was added to the injury report on Friday with a shoulder injury. He didn’t practice on Friday after practicing in full on Wednesday and Thursday — and is questionable for Week 15. This is a situation to monitor. EDGE (4-3 DE) Micah Parsons would feast if McGlinchey is out — double teams be damned.
