After another incredible season, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was one of the driving forces to help lead the Seattle Seahawks to Super Bowl 60. He led the league in receiving yards and wasn’t too far behind in touchdowns and receptions.
While he wasn’t atop the receiving totals in the postseason, he’s still been a solid contributor for the Seahawks in the playoffs after Seattle’s first-round bye.
Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s Super Bowl 60 Stats and Highlights

According to PFSN, WR Impact ranked the wideout second in the NFL with a score of 94.4, trailing only Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua. Despite being targeted six times through the first two quarters, Smith-Njigba caught just one pass for four yards. While the Seahawks’ offense has been impressive throughout the postseason, both defenses have been on point, holding the Patriots and Seahawks defense relatively silent.
He had caught another pass in the third quarter to bring his total to three receptions for 24 yards; however, Smith-Njigba suffered a leg injury and was sent to the medical tent. Later, the Seahawks star was sent to the locker room to evaluate a potential concussion.
The Seahawks offense has looked one-dimensional. Kenneth Walker III has been sensational in this game, terrorizing the New England defense with his legs. Walker has 17 yards on just 18 carries and two catches for 26 yards. Outside of Walker, the offense has been nearly non-existent.
Sam Darnold has not been efficient throwing the ball, completing just 13 of 28 passes. He’s gone for a few home run balls, but hasn’t connected. Smith-Njigba has been targeted on nine of these 28 passes, but to very little success.
While he has made his way back to the sideline in the fourth quarter, he has not been allowed to re-enter the game, given the injury concerns.
