What Is the Fantasy Impact of the Week 10 NFL Weather?

Weather information was taken from Weather.com at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9. In-depth stats are courtesy of Pro Football Reference.

Atlanta Falcons at Indianapolis Colts (Berlin Game)

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Mid 40s
  • Showers: 7%
  • Wind: 3 mph South-southwesterly

After Germany was handed a borderline-insulting matchup between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers in Munich last year, Berlin gets a more enticing spectacle this week. The Indianapolis Colts rank first in PFSN’s Offense Impact metric, while Daniel Jones leads all quarterbacks in QB Impact grade after nine weeks.

Having lost three consecutive games in the United States, the inconsistent Atlanta Falcons will hope for better fortune in Germany. The Colts are also looking to get back to winning ways following a surprise defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

The weather is on the colder side, but it shouldn’t make too much of a difference. Two of the league’s top running backs will dominate much of the pre-game talk, along with Sauce Gardner, who is set to make his Colts debut.

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Low 70s
  • Showers: 1%
  • Wind: 16 mph Southwesterly

Warmer temperatures in Charlotte bring with them some trickier wind conditions. Two quarterbacks who still have plenty to prove will likely lean on shorter completions if possible, while Taysom Hill could continue to see more work.

The New Orleans Saints lost a key playmaker in Rashid Shaheed on deadline day, and the Carolina Panthers could end Week 10 on six wins for the first time since 2018.

New York Giants at Chicago Bears

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Mid to High 30s
  • Showers: 1%
  • Wind: 24 mph North-northwesterly

If the wind in Charlotte causes problems, it will be minimal compared to the effects it has in Chicago. After a rainy night, Soldier Field will be subject to winds of over 20 mph, which should impact both kicking and play calling.

There are question marks around D’Andre Swift, but either way, Kyler Monangai should see plenty of work, given the conditions, as should Devin Singletary. This likely isn’t the game to start either kicker in fantasy.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Mid 80s
  • Showers: 12%
  • Wind: 8 mph South-southeasterly

The Miami Dolphins have lost six consecutive regular-season games to the Buffalo Bills and 13 of their last 14 against their division rivals. Few will expect that to change this weekend, but the Dolphins will at least have the weather on their side.

Cleveland Browns at New York Jets

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: High 50s
  • Showers: 39%
  • Wind: 13 mph Southeasterly

Time will tell if the New York Jets’ decision to part with their two best defensive players at the trade deadline was good business or not. The Cleveland Browns, who also have their eyes primarily on the future, get the first crack at a Jets defense without Gardner and Quinnen Williams.

Dillon Gabriel needs to put it all together soon, or the Browns could decide to get a look at Shedeur Sanders. However, with showers potentially affecting things in New Jersey, the odds may be against him this weekend.

New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Low 80s
  • Showers: 22%
  • Wind: 8 mph Southwesterly

While the Dolphins and Bills are enjoying the sun in Miami, two teams will have to be wary of storms in Tampa. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the New England Patriots, and with thunderstorms forecasted for the morning and evening, there is every chance this game will be interrupted.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: High 50s to low 60s
  • Showers: 0%
  • Wind: 5 mph Southerly

The Arizona Cardinals’ offense has looked much more impressive with Jacoby Brissett starting in recent weeks. Brissett has topped 250 passing yards in all three of his starts, something Kyler Murray failed to manage in any of his five starts before injury.

The Seattle Seahawks possess one of the best run defenses in the NFL, if not the very best, but Brissett could have some joy through the air. This isn’t a game to start your Cardinals running backs, while Rashid Shaheed’s reunion with Klint Kubiak immediately gives Seattle yet another big-play threat on offense.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: High 70s to low 80s
  • Showers: 0%
  • Wind: 4 mph Northwesterly

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams complete an NFC West double-header this Sunday, and the forecast predicts a perfect afternoon for football in Santa Clara. Three of the division’s four teams head into Sunday on six wins, with the 49ers having already beaten all three of their division rivals once.

Detroit Lions at Washington Commanders

  • Kickoff: Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: Mid to low 60s
  • Showers: 11%
  • Wind: 9 mph Southerly

With the Green Bay Packers hosting the reigning Super Bowl champions on Monday night, the Detroit Lions will look to pile on the pressure with a win in the capital on Sunday. The weather shouldn’t play a part, so all of the regular faces are playable in fantasy.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers

  • Kickoff: Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Expected Temperature: High 20s
  • Showers: 2%
  • Wind: 8 mph West-northwesterly

If results go their way in the other two NFC North vs. NFC East matchups this weekend, the Philadelphia Eagles could pull four wins clear at the top of the division on Monday night. The Packers’ defense was uncharacteristically gashed by the run against Carolina in Week 9, and now face Saquon Barkley in below-freezing temperatures.
