The Best WRs To Start in Fantasy Football

    Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers

We’re going to get to see some fireworks late on Sunday afternoon with the Dolphins and Chargers facing off against one another. Kellen Moore will get this first chance to show the world what he’s been cooking up as the offensive coordinator for L.A. with the litany of playmakers he has at his disposal. Vegas is expecting points to fly up on the board.

At the time of writing, this matchup has a projected over/under of 50.5 points, and there’s a very strong possibility that we see the over well before the end of the game. This means that touchdowns and scoring opportunities are going to be there, and Williams has the potential to reel in at least one of those this week.

Xavien Howard will see Williams quite a bit, but Los Angeles should be moving Williams around the formation more this year to create advantageous matchups, and we could see that play out this week. Eli Apple is the other starting corner for Miami, which is certainly a mismatch that the Chargers should be attacking.

Williams belongs in starting lineups this week, and he has top-five upside heading into Week 1.

    Skyy Moore, Kansas City Chiefs

Fantasy managers need to make some tough decisions already on their FLEX options as we barrel ahead into Week 1. With that being the case, fantasy managers need to seriously look at Moore in a high-scoring affair against the Detroit Lions to open the season on Thursday Night Football.

Last season, the Lions secondary allowed 4,169 passing yards, which was the third-most in the entire NFL. They’ve made some reinforcements throughout the offseason, but Emmanuel Moseley just came off of the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and was limited to begin the week in practice.

This game has a 54.5 point over/under at the time of writing, which means scoring opportunities are going to be there for Patrick Mahomes’ playmakers, and Moore’s a starting wideout in this offense. Play him with confidence here in Week 1, especially now that Travis Kelce is highly unlikely to play after his injury sustained in practice.
