Get to Know Drake Maye’s Wife Ann Michael Maye

The story between Maye and Ann began before they entered the NFL spotlight. The two met as middle schoolers in North Carolina and started dating when they were only 13 years old.

They stayed together through high school and both attended the University of North Carolina, where Maye would become a decorated quarterback. Ann would graduate with a degree in Business Administration, where she interned with Deloitte, Bosch Power Tools, and Piedmont Pennies.

After being drafted third overall by the Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft, Maye proposed to his then-girlfriend following his rookie season, during which he had 2,276 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 421 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns.

In June 2025, the couple got married at Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina. Their wedding went viral after the couple donated all of their wedding gifts to local shelters in their hometown.

Recently, Ann has made waves on TikTok for her baking videos. One of her videos is of her making an apple cider donut loaf and apple cinnamon oat crumble bars. In the comments of these videos, Patriots fans rave about her baking and give praise to Maye himself. One fan said, “You read recipes the way Drake reads defenses.”

Maye has been impressive in the 2025 NFL campaign, throwing for 3,130 yards, 21 touchdowns, and six interceptions, while rushing for 307 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games.

Heading into Week 13, he sits second among the quarterbacks in the league based on PFSN’s QB Impact metric, proving he is quickly establishing himself as one of the league’s top young quarterbacks.
