Dave Portnoy Shares Bold Prediction on Outcome of Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini Situation

Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports and a popular media personality, shared a striking prediction about how the Vrabel-Russini controversy will come to an end.

“Davey Pageviews You Heard it Here 1st Prediction – Vrabel and Russini both get divorced and remarry each other,” he posted on X.

Portnoy is a New England Patriots superfan, and Russini has been a long-time collaborator with Barstool Sports’ show “Pardon My Take.”

Portnoy’s comment came after the latest batch of reports, including the newly surfaced images published by outlets like Page Six and TMZ. One set of photos allegedly showed Vrabel and Russini at a New York City bar in 2020, shared by Page Six, and showed them appearing close and even sharing a kiss.

Another report, shared by TMZ, showed them together at a casino in 2024, weeks after Vrabel was fired by the Tennessee Titans. These developments intensified speculation around the nature and timeline of their relationship.

Both individuals are currently married — Vrabel to Jen Vrabel, and Russini to Kevin Goldschmidt.

Neither has confirmed any alleged relationship, but the consistent reports on the scandal have kept the drama in focus. However, amid the mounting attention, Russini decided to step down from The Athletic, and Vrabel announced he would be away from the Patriots on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft to attend counseling with his family.

“As I said the other day, I promised my family, this organization, and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them,” Vrabel said, via ESPN, on Wednesday. “In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend.”

“I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father, and coach that I possibly can be,” Vrabel added. “This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result.”

The Patriots reportedly then worked on the final rounds on Day 3 without their head coach involved. Now, as multiple reports, public statements, and outside commentary continue to shape the narrative, the situation remains fluid, and many questions are unanswered.
