While Aaron Rodgers loves to hide out and do his thing in silence during the offseason, now that NFL training camps have kicked off, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has come out of his cave. This time, that meant paying another visit to his old friend on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Although there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the future Hall of Famer’s return to Pittsburgh for a second season, the real headlines were made when Rodgers went off-script, ranting about Dr. Anthony Fauci, ESPN, and the “major scandal” involving Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel.

Rodgers’ appearance Monday has generated some strong responses, ranging from an ex-ESPN host to former NFL players. It even caught the attention of a sitting congressman.
“I’m gonna plead the fifth,” Rodgers joked. “Like that absolute coward Tony Fauci. Absolute coward. Are you kidding me? You got a pardon. And you pleaded over 100 times at the White House? What are you scared of, Tony? I thought you were ‘The Science?’ I thought you were ‘I am science,’ and you get up there, and you can’t answer a question? What are we doing?”
Oh, but Rodgers was just getting started.
He continued, targeting ESPN for providing updates on his vaccination status, but giving no attention to “Tony Fauci.” Instead, it was a bunch on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s summer wedding.
“How much time did the network spend on that?” Rodgers asked. “How much time did they spend on my responses every week? On my vaccination status. On Taylor and Travis’s wedding? Did they do even a minute on Tony Fauci? Nah, I bet they didn’t.”
Rodgers’ rant caught the eye of Arizona congressman Eli Crane, who replied to the QB’s comments.

The four-time MVP essentially feels like he’s been proven right, and he’s loving the idea that critics won’t have much to say about him now.
“What are you gonna say about me now?” Rodgers questioned.
“No, seriously, what are they gonna say about me now? Now we can’t talk about the COVID stuff because obviously it was made in a lab in China. That’s like not even questionable anymore. Tony Fauci is an absolute criminal. I’m on good terms with my family; what are they gonna say about me now?”
Rodgers may have left McAfee speechless, but his comments are getting many others to back him up.
