Christian McCaffrey’s Contract Details

McCaffrey shone for the 49ers after getting traded from the Carolina Panthers in 2022. In 2024, he agreed to a two-year, $38 million extension with the 49ers, which will keep him under contract through the 2027 season.

For 2025, McCaffrey is set to earn a base salary of $1,255,000, along with a $500,000 roster bonus and a $200,000 workout bonus, and his total cash payout for the season is $16.2 million. His cap hit for this season is $8.36 million, and it rises to $10.85 million in 2026.

So far in his career, McCaffrey has made a total of $97,466,910 from his earnings on the field.

When it comes to off-field earnings, McCaffrey has expanded his portfolio in notable ways. He allowed his Nike endorsement deal to expire so he could join performance wellness startup While On Earth as a co-founder and investor. The footwear and apparel company officially launched in the fall of 2024.
