Miami (OH) vs. Buffalo Head-to-Head Record
Miami (OH) and Buffalo first met on the field in 1951, but didn’t play again until 1999, marking the start of an annual series that continues to this day. The RedHawks dominated the early years, capturing ten consecutive victories from 1951 through 2007, the longest streak in the rivalry’s history.
In more recent years, however, the contest has become far more competitive, with the Bulls claiming nine wins in the last sixteen meetings. The series has followed a back-and-forth pattern, with each team capturing three of the last six games, and every one of those matchups has been won by the home team.

Miami (OH) vs. Buffalo Prediction
In what will be a highly spirited bout between two teams on the verge of bowl eligibility, the defenses will make the difference in this one. Miami is the third-best defense in the MAC in terms of yards allowed, and Buffalo is third-best in terms of points allowed, so something has to give in this mid-week matchup.

When looking at these teams, the RedHawks have the only players that I can see taking over the game in Eli Blakey and Adam Trick, so it is hard for me to pick against them in this one, even with their quarterback leaving the team to prepare for the NFL Draft.
Look for this game to be ugly, and for most of the scores to come from the kickers in this cold battle in Northern New York, and for Miami to clinch bowl eligibility and showcase what their defense is capable of on the national stage.
Prediction: Miami (OH) 20, Buffalo 13
