College Football 26 is bringing back more than just exciting gameplay. It’s reviving tradition, one mascot at a time. Alongside new home stadium features and the arrival of fresh coaches, several new mascots are also set to debut in CFB 26. This could be one of the biggest additions to the game, as it includes far more than just a few mascots. According to reports, a total of 37 new mascots are coming with the game’s launch on Jul. 10.

EA Sports Reveals All-New Mascots Coming to College Football 26

EA Sports’ College Football 26 is just about two weeks away from release. To build excitement, the company has been teasing small updates every day. Honestly, this time around, there is not much left to reveal because the biggest reveal, the Dynasty Deep Dive gameplay, is set to drop tomorrow. Still, to surprise fans, EA confirmed that a number of new mascots are coming in the game.

Among the standout additions are powerhouses like Kentucky, Utah, Iowa, Arkansas, Duke, and Kansas, along with popular programs such as Boise State, Louisville, SMU, Army, Navy, and Coastal Carolina. Even the Pop-Tarts Bowl mascot, the now-iconic anthropomorphic toaster pastry, is coming to make the game more delightful.

College Football content creator Bordeaux recently shared the full list of mascots coming to the game. It includes:

You may not notice it at first, but there are also nine new mascots from the Big 12 in the list. They’re really going all out to cover every little thing about college football traditions, but mascots just don’t cut it on their own. So, this new game version has got enhanced pageantry, drone shows, band performances, and that real stadium vibe too.

Regarding this strategy, EA Sports design director Christian Brandt wrote, “One of the most cherished aspects of college football is the vibrant mix of traditions and mascots that make each program special. From costumed characters that represent school pride to touchdown and turnover celebrations that excite the crowd, these elements are essential to the sport.”

He added, “For College Football 26, we prioritized expanding and improving these features to bring even more authenticity and personality to the game. We heard your feedback from last year, and this year, we’re excited to introduce new mascots and touchdown/turnover traditions that celebrate each program’s uniqueness to immerse players in the lively culture of college football.”

Mascots were also available in last year’s version, but not in the same way they will be this year. Based on Brandt’s promises, it appears they are fully committed to delivering their best in the new release.
