Deion Sanders’ Daughter Doubles Down on Pilar Sanders’ Love after Gesture to Support Shedeur

Deion Sanders’ daughter shows unwavering support for Pilar Sanders, doubling down after her heartfelt gesture toward Shedeur.

While Deion Sanders might not be in the stands for a Cleveland Browns game with his son Shedeur Sanders on the bench, you can always count on mother Pilar Sanders and sister Shelomi Sanders to be there. They consistently show their support in person and on social media.

Why Is Shedeur Sanders’ Family Support Louder Than His Playing Time?

Cleveland’s 13-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Sept. 21, was a thrilling first win of the 2025-26 season, giving the team a 1-2 record. However, one special person in the stands soaking it all in was Pilar, the proud mother of the rookie sensation.

On Instagram, Pilar turned heads in a custom off-shoulder, vibrant orange blouse paired with matching shades and a chic handbag. Her baggy blue jeans, stamped with Shedeur’s No. 12, completed the look.

Of course, the comments section was flooded with praise and love, most notably from her daughter Shelomi, who couldn’t resist dropping a heartfelt “Wow look at youuuu” followed by a string of heart emojis.

Pilar and Deion share three children: Shedeur, 23, Shilo, 25, and Shelomi, 21. Recently, Shelomi coordinated a custom Browns outfit with her mom for Shedeur’s last preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Meanwhile, controversy still lingers around the Browns’ quarterback situation. While fans are calling for Shedeur to get a shot, head coach Kevin Stefanski has been clear about his preference for third-round pick Dillon Gabriel, the former Oregon standout, over veteran Joe Flacco.

On Monday, “Coach Prime” appeared on the “New Heights podcast” with Jason and Travis Kelce. The conversation inevitably turned to Shedeur and his decision to turn down a chance to be drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.

Deion defended the move, saying they didn’t see a clear path to starting with Lamar Jackson entrenched as the Ravens’ franchise quarterback. However, his reasoning drew some eyebrows, especially when he explained, “I’ve never sat on the bench and thought, ‘Wow, I learned a lot today.’”

It’s a bold stance, but does it hold water? Many would argue that developing behind Jackson could have been valuable. The real issue seems to be a misconception that Shedeur is on the same level as his father, a Hall of Fame, all-time great. Shedeur, on the other hand, was a fifth-round pick still working to prove himself.

So far, the decision has not panned out. Instead of backing up Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, Shedeur finds himself as the third-string quarterback in Cleveland behind Flacco and Gabriel. The Browns have seemed more focused on developing Gabriel, leaving Shedeur’s growth somewhat sidelined.

If Coach Prime’s prediction comes true and Shedeur eventually earns his place, you can bet that Pilar will be there to celebrate, though likely not sitting next to Deion. Knowing Pilar, she will certainly have something special planned for her outfit if that moment arrives.
