The Baltimore Ravens have done it, they have swept the Cleveland Browns for the first time since 2020, and have also clawed their way back to .500 after starting the season 1-5.
In what can only be described as a surprise playoff contender, Baltimore is now 5-5 after defeating Cleveland 23-16. The Ravens started their year with a 41-40 loss against the Buffalo Bills and also lost 17-3 to the Los Angeles Rams on October 12, as well as by 34 points to the Houston Texans. But the Ravens’ latest win now means they have won their last three matchups in a row.

Likelihood of Baltimore Ravens Making Playoffs Continues to Grow
The win for Baltimore also came in the midst of the Browns’ rookie Shedeur Sanders finally seeing his welcome to the NFL — as fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel was knocked out of the Week 11 contest to be evaluated for a concussion.
Baltimore concluded the game against the Browns with 184 rushing yards and 167 passing yards after falling behind 16-10 at halftime. Derrick Henry and Mark Andrews each posted a rushing touchdown.

Ravens pass catcher Mark Andrews — whom the Ravens drafted in the third round in 2018 — surpassed Derrick Mason in franchise receiving yards Sunday in Cleveland. Andrews did it with an 11-yard catch on the Ravens’ first drive of the game that put the three-time Pro Bowl performer at 5,785 career receiving yards.
Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson passed for 193 yards but threw two interceptions and was sacked five times.
According to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor, the Ravens now have a 48% chance of making the playoffs and a 42.6% chance of winning the division — their chances of winning Super Bowl LX are now 2.4%.

Across the entire league, the Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) lead in postseason chances with a 99.1% chance of making the playoffs, a 98.9% chance of winning the division, and a 10.8% chance of winning Super Bowl LX.
Cleveland’s edge rusher Myles Garrett tallied three sacks in the first half and finished with four in the game, but Baltimore’s perseverance, which has been on display over the past few weeks, edged out in the end.
Baltimore looks to continue its improvement after adding to its playoff chances, with the next game scheduled to take place on Sunday, Nov. 23, when it hosts the New York Jets. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns (2-8) will travel to Las Vegas to face the Raiders on the same day.
