In the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs, the Buffalo Bills beat the Jacksonville Jaguars by a score of 27-24 to advance to the next round.
Despite their performance, the team is lacking a true WR1; however, they are predicted to add a playmaker in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Bills Predicted To Add an SEC Wide Receiver To Bolster Dynamic Offense
In the latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft by PFSN’s Jacob Infante, the Bills are predicted to select wide receiver KC Concepcion from Texas A&M with the 26th overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft. Infante had this to say on Concepcion:
“KC Concepcion is a dynamic receiver with tremendous YAC ability and impressive quickness, excelling as a route runner who shoots out of his breaks.
Throughout his stints at Texas A&M and NC State, he’s been a reliable underneath weapon with inside-outside versatility. His twitchiness underneath and speed-oriented game would be a great addition to Buffalo’s offense.”
In PFSN’s CFB WR Impact Metric, Concepcion was ranked as the 19th-best wide receiver in college with an impact score of 81.5 and a B- letter grade. In 2025, he caught 61 passes for 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. Additionally, he added 75 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. He earned All-American honors for his efforts this past season.
Before his time with the Aggies, Concepcion spent two years with North Carolina State. In his three-year college career, he caught 185 passes for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns, while adding 431 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.
In PFSN’s NFL Offense Impact Metric, the Bills finished the regular season ranked third in the league with an impact score of 86.5 and a letter grade of B. Despite the potent offense, the team hasn’t possessed an actual No. 1 wide receiver since Stefon Diggs’ tenure with the team.
The top wide receiver for the Bills this season was Khalil Shakir, who finished with an impact score of 77.7 and a letter grade of C+ in PFSN’s NFL WR Impact Metric. In 16 games, he caught 72 passes for 719 yards and four touchdowns.
Behind him is Brandin Cooks, who ranked 68th with an impact score of 72.0 and a letter grade of C-. Following Cooks is Keon Coleman, who dealt with significant turmoil this season. He ranked 75th with an impact score of 71.3 and a letter grade of C-. Last was Josh Palmer, who ranked 82nd with an impact score of 69.9 and a letter grade of D+.
Adding Concepcion to the Bills’ already outstanding offense could take them to another level. Between the playmaking ability of Josh Allen and the running ability of James Cook, Concepcion could give the Bills a legitimate air threat that they’ve been lacking.
