Ayomanor’s NFL Outlook, Scouting Report

PFN’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft has Ayomanor landing with the Carolina Panthers at No. 57 overall in the second round. He’d be a natural complement to last year’s first-rounder Xavier Legette, forming a young and physical wide receiver duo in Carolina.

According to PFSN’s Jacob Infante’s scouting report, Ayomanor projects as a boundary ‘X’ receiver who brings excellent ball skills, a massive catch radius and physicality that shows up after the catch. He tracks the ball well and takes clean angles, and while his speed doesn’t pop like a burner’s, it’s impressive for a player of his build. There’s real upside if a team can polish the rest of his game.

His route running, however, remains a work in progress. He tends to come out of breaks a little too tall and doesn’t yet show the lower-body explosion to separate consistently. His release off the line is still developing, and his high center of gravity can make it easier for defenders to jam him early in routes.

Ayomanor’s rookie year might be a learning curve, but his ceiling down the line is legit. He may not be refined enough to go in Round 1, but with his physical tools, production and long-term upside, he makes for a strong Day 2 investment. Early Round 3 seems like a safe projection, though don’t be shocked if he sneaks into the back end of Round 2.
