Top RBs To Start in Week 8
Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans
Dameon Pierce hasn’t lived up to expectations so far this season, but he’s in a prime spot to return top-20 fantasy value in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina is currently allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing RBs — with an average of 27! The only team worse than them this year is the Denver Broncos.
This is a matchup to get Pierce into your starting lineup. I wouldn’t be shocked if he finds the end zone multiple times.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
Assuming that David Montgomery is out for another week, we need to get Jahmyr Gibbs into starting lineups. Actually, even if Montgomery does play, it still might be worth looking Gibbs’ way due to the matchup.

The Las Vegas Raiders are getting gashed by opposing running backs this season, and they just allowed D’Onta Foreman — who was a healthy scratch for the Chicago Bears the first few weeks of the season — to rumble for three touchdowns in Week 7.
Gibbs has been a frustrating fantasy asset up to this point, but if you have him on your roster, you should be excited about what he can do in this matchup.
