The second Thanksgiving game features the Dallas Cowboys against the Kansas City Chiefs, with both teams fighting to stay in the playoff race. Dallas has been inconsistent this season, but they’re 2-0 over the last two weeks, and the defense has taken a major step forward since adding Quinnen Williams at the deadline. They also bolstered the offense before the 2025 season by trading for WR George Pickens.
Pickens has always been a fun player to watch throughout his young career, but “maturity” has always been something to watch during games or off the field. Still, since being traded to the Cowboys, Pickens seems to be having fun, and Dallas looks happy with the deal they made.
What was George Picken’s Viral Post About?
On that topic, a rumored Instagram story post from Pickens went viral yesterday. This post was a shot at Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.
“Tmrw we feast” was put over a picture of Brittany Mahomes, and the post was apparently from Pickens’ account.
Given Pickens’ history of behavior and the Cowboys’ next opponent, the Chiefs, many believed this Instagram post was real, but it was not.

The fake post originated from a satirical Twitter/X account called TheNFLDrop, which regularly spreads made-up stories. This time, they claimed the 24-year-old had posted an Instagram Story of Brittany Mahomes with the caption, “Tmrw we feast.”
He didn’t. So instead of getting dragged into a fake “shot,” let’s focus on how well Pickens has actually played this season. At least, so far this season, Pickens has stayed true to his hype.
Pickens’ Excellent Season
Looking at PFSN’s WR Impact Metric, Pickens is ranked third among all WRs this season. Due to fellow star WR Ceedee Lamb’s health issues so far, Pickens’ role in the offense has been increased, and his ability to make plays is excellent.
Going into Week 13, Pickens is 2nd in receiving yards, 4th in yards per target, 3rd in receiving touchdowns, and 6th in receptions. He is having a truly excellent season, and the deal Dallas made for him may be one of the best this year.
Now, Pickens will focus on continuing his impressive year and once again show out for his team, this time against the Chiefs on Thanksgiving.
