NFL Trades Today (Tuesday, Nov. 4)
Jets Send CB Sauce Gardner To Colts
In one of the shocking trades that happened on Tuesday, the New York Jets are sending cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport posted on X about the trade after it was announced. To say this came out of left field would be an understatement.

An additional note on Gardner from ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter: “The Jets signed Sauce Gardner to a 4-year, $120.4M extension this offseason. He gets traded just a few months later to the 7-2 Colts.”
In exchange for Gardner, the Jets are getting wide receiver AD Mitchell and two first-round draft picks in the 2026 and 2027 NFL Drafts. This is quite a blockbuster deal on NFL Trade Deadline day.
Jets Deal DT Quinnen Williams To Cowboys
The New York Jets continued their dealing on Tuesday as the NFL Trade Deadline gets closer. The Jets have traded defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys reportedly in exchange for a 2026 NFL Draft second-round pick and a 2027 NFL Draft first-round pick. The Jets are getting the higher of the Cowboys’ two No. 1’s (Dallas’ or GB) in 2027.
The Cowboys also have reportedly sent DT Mazi Smith to the Jets as part of the Williams trade.
Here’s how Williams has graded out according to the PFSN DT Impact metrics.

Saints Deal WR Rashid Shaheed To Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks wanted some help at their wide receiver position, so they made a trade on Tuesday with the New Orleans Saints.
Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed will now call the Pacific Northwest home as the Seahawks added him to their wide receiving corps, according to a post from NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.
Saints Send OL Trevor Penning To Chargers
As the NFL Trade Deadline hit its final minutes, the New Orleans Saints sent offensive lineman Trevor Penning to the Los Angeles Chargers. The deal will help the Chargers along their offensive line, which has been hampered by injuries.
Schefter posted on X: “Deadline deal: Saints are trading OL Trevor Penning to the Chargers, per source.”
According to the PFSN NFL Offense Impact metrics, the Chargers’ offense has a PFSN Offense Impact score of 76.6 and grades out with a C. The Chargers rank 28th in Team OLi with a 64.2 grade. Penning has a 72 Player OLi grade this season, which ranks 114th overall among all linemen and 40th at his position.
Chargers Deal Ja’Sir Taylor to Jets
Apart from acquiring Penning, the Chargers also traded away defensive back Ja’Sir Taylor to the Jets. Los Angeles got a 2028 conditional seventh-round pick in return for the 26-year-old player.
Jaguars Finalize Deal for Jakobi Meyers
The Jacksonville Jaguars have added another weapon for Trevor Lawrence. After Travis Hunter was placed on the injured reserve, the AFC South franchise traded for Jakobi Meyers from the Las Vegas Raiders.
“Raiders are trading WR Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for fourth- and sixth-round picks,” wrote NFL insider Adam Schefter on X. “Multiple teams including the Steelers and Jaguars had shown interest in Meyers, who is scheduled to become a free agent after his contract expires this season.”
Bears Pick Up DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka
The Chicago Bears added some defensive line help in a deal with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday. The Bears acquired defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, who has 15 sacks in his career, and a seventh-round draft choice in the 2026 NFL Draft from the Browns in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
With the deal, the Bears get some help at the EDGE position going forward.
Cowboys Finalize Deal For MLB Logan Wilson
After teasing a deal on Monday, Dallas Cowboys owner-general manager Jerry Jones finalized a trade to acquire middle linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported the deal in a post on X on Tuesday morning.

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 4, 2025
“It is expected to be for Wilson, for whom the Bengals have been seeking a sixth-round pick,” Schefter wrote in his post. “Wilson signed four-year $36 million extension in July 2023 that still has two years remaining on it after this season.”
For additional context on this deal, Schefter wrote, that Wilson “was the Bengals’ leading tackler from 2021-2023 before missing the last six games of 2024 — and still finished with 104 tackles in 11 games. His 11 interceptions over the past 5.5 seasons are tops amongst MLBs. And Logan Wilson’s nickname is ‘the Cowboy’ because he’s from and played at Wyoming, where he was teammates with Josh Allen.”
According to the PFSN NFL Defense Impact metrics, the Cowboys have a Defense Impact Score of 59.3 and grade out at an F.
NFL Trades (Monday, Nov. 3)
Eagles Acquire EDGE Rusher Jalen Phillips
On Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles picked up some help for their defensive front by acquiring Jalen Phillips from the Miami Dolphins for a 2026 third-round pick, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter in a post on X.
Sources: Miami is trading edge rusher Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) November 3, 2025
The Eagles have been quite busy ahead of the NFL Trade Deadline, also picking up cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter. Phillips reunites with Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, who was his defensive coordinator in Miami in 2023, the year he recorded 6.5 sacks in just 8 games.
Philadelphia currently has the 14th-ranked defense in the league, based on PFSN’s Defense Impact metric, and these trades will help the franchise prepare for another Super Bowl run.
In other Dolphins trade rumors news, the team reportedly has been willing to trade five-time Pro Bowl safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. There’s interest out there among other NFL teams.
Eagles Pick Up EDGE Rusher Dre’Mont Jones
After the Eagles picked up Phillips earlier on Monday, they were not through dealing. Philadelphia acquired EDGE rusher Dre’Mont Jones from the Tennessee Titans. Jones was in his first season with the Titans after playing four seasons for the Detroit Lions and two with the Seattle Seahawks.
In 99 NFL games, Jones has 35 career sacks. For the Titans this season, Jones has 4.5 sacks. His best overall seasons sack-wise were in 2020 and 2022 with the Lions, when he finished with 6.5 sacks.
The Titans made the deal for a conditional fifth-round pick. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter said in a post on X that the Eagles’ pick going to Tennessee is the Jets’ 2026 fifth-round pick that Baltimore had, but there are conditions in which that pick could become the Ravens’ 2026 fourth-round pick.
Dallas Cowboys Make Trade, But Jones Mum On Details
While talking with ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith on “The Stephen A. Smith Show” on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog radio on Monday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that the team had made a trade. But Jones did not offer any concrete trade details.
Jon Machota, Cowboys reporter for The Athletic, posted on X about Jones’ comments.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones @SIRIUSXM just said Dallas has made a trade and could possibly make a couple of more before tomorrow’s deadline. He declined to share who is involved in the trade.
Jones: “Immediately it will have him on the field and it will address some of the things…
— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) November 3, 2025
“Immediately it will have him on the field and it will address some of the things that have been our shortcomings,” Jones told Smith. One area that Dallas has been looking to address is its issues along the defensive line. Ever since Jones traded Micah Parsons away to the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys have lacked a solid pass rusher.
Latest NFL Trade Deadline Rumors
Will the Jets Part Ways With RB Breece Hall?
A lot of NFL teams are in need of veteran help at running back. The New York Jets are getting calls, according to Russini, about running back Breece Hall and linebacker Jermaine Johnson.
On Tuesday, just ahead of the NFL Trade Deadline, Hall headed out to X and posted this emoji.
…
— Breece Hall (@BreeceH) November 4, 2025
It might be in reference to the Gardner trade. Of course, it also might have something to do with any potential deal involving him as well.
Russini posted on X an update regarding what teams are asking for when talking to the Jets about any deal involving Hall. “The Jets’ asking price for Breece Hall is a third-round pick, per source,” Russini wrote. “Teams have yet to meet New York’s ask with just over an hour to go until the deadline.”
Then, Schultz posted an update that Hall “wants to be out” of New York. “BREAKING: #Jets RB Breece Hall wants to be traded, I’m told,” Schultz wrote. “A little over one hour until the deadline, but Breece ‘wants to be out.'”
Albert Breer, Senior NFL Reporter for The MMQB, posted on Tuesday afternoon, “The Jets have been looking for a second-round pick for Jermaine Johnson, and a third-round pick for Breece Hall … We’ll see if they get either price.”
Later, though, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero said that Hall is not going anywhere. Pelissero wrote, “On a wild day in Florham Park, the Jets are not expected to trade Breece Hall, though there is still over an hour to the deadline …”
Will Jets Deal WR Garrett Wilson?
As the Jets have been busy making deals, one player that they apparently are not willing to part with is wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
According to Jordan Schultz, teams have called the Jets inquiring about Wilson’s availability. But the Jets are apparently going to hold on to their wide receiver at this point as the NFL Trade Deadline time grows closer.
Could Rams Be Next Home For Shedeur Sanders?
Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who is the backup to Browns starter Dillon Gabriel, might be on the move.
There’s been some chatter that the Los Angeles Rams might be in the market to pick up Sanders, a fifth-round draft choice by the Browns in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders could be a potential starter down the road for the Rams after Matthew Stafford decides to retire from the NFL.
Another team in the mix for Sanders could be the Las Vegas Raiders, who are struggling with Geno Smith as their starting QB this season.
Bears In Market For Pass-Rush Help
The Chicago Bears, at 5-3 this season, are looking to bolster their pass-rushing on defense. The Bears are missing some players at that position due to injuries, so they might look for a key player that an NFL team might want to trade on Tuesday.
Colts Looking For Help At CB
The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly in the market for a cornerback. The Colts reportedly also are potentially looking to pick up Cincinnati Bengals defensive star Trey Hendrickson, according to a report.
Will Bengals Move Trey Hendrickson?
Leading up to the trade deadline, a popular name that has been bandied about is Cincinnati Bengals defensive star Trey Hendrickson. He obviously knows that he’s been involved in trade rumors for some time.
However, he addressed the matter head-on when speaking with reporters on Monday. “I stopped doing ‘hopes’ and all that stuff a long time ago,” Hendrickson said. “You are where your feet are.”

Commanders Might Look To Make Deals
After seeing Washington Commanders starting quarterback Jayden Daniels suffer a gruesome injury to his left elbow on Sunday night against the Seattle Seahawks, the Commanders might be in the market for an additional signal-caller.
The team is apparently open to trading “several players” as the Commanders’ season hasn’t gone the way head coach Dan Quinn and the front office envisioned before it started.
Players mentioned on Monday include offensive linemen Andrew Wylie and Nick Allegretti. They have starting and playoff experience, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Wylie has valuable position flexibility, having played both guard spots and right tackle during his career.

Regarding the Commanders’ injury woes, Commanders reporter Nicki Jhabvala for The Athletic noted in a post on X, “Since the start of the regular season, 17 Commanders players have suffered injuries that have or will cost them time. Of those players, 13 were starters at the time of their injuries.”
Will Patriots Move LB Anfernee Jennings?
There’s been some chatter that the New England Patriots might be willing to move outside linebacker Anfernee Jennings in a deal.

Nothing is confirmed yet, but Jennings’ name is circulating, according to Schultz. “Jennings started 30 games over the past two seasons but hasn’t started a game this year under the new defensive staff,” Schultz reported on Monday.
Eagles Putting WR AJ Brown’s Name Out There
Rumors are out there that the Eagles might consider moving AJ Brown. However, it will take a significant offer for Philadelphia to part ways with its superstar wide receiver.
Late on Tuesday, as the NFL Trade Deadline cut-off time at 4 p.m. Eastern neared, Schefter posted on X that the Eagles are not moving him. “As expected, Eagles WR AJ Brown has not been and will not be traded by today’s deadline,” Schefter wrote.
Raiders Could Deal Tyree Wilson
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Tyree Wilson, who is a former top-10 draft pick by the organization, could be on the move. The Raiders might be looking to do some more work on its roster as first-year head coach Pete Carroll looks to rebuild the team.
Titans Might Undergo Fire Sale at Deadline
The Tennessee Titans are having a bad season, and this usually means that a team like the Titans might just go ahead and start rebuilding.
According to NFL Insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the team appears to be open to trading every player on the team except for 2025 NFL Draft No. 1 overall pick and starting quarterback Cam Ward, along with defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons.
One player that teams did reach out to the Titans about was defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat. But, according to Schultz, the Titans aren’t dealing him on Tuesday.
“Sources: Despite significant league-wide interest, the #Titans are not trading DT T’Vondre Sweat,” Schultz wrote. “They view him as a young, ascending cornerstone — a key part of their future plans — and have made it clear they’re not looking to move him.”
Seahawks Are Looking At Dolphins RB
The Seattle Seahawks want some help in their backfield. One name that has been attached to the Seahawks is Dolphins running back De’Von Achane.
Reportedly, Seattle would be willing to part ways with Tariq Woolen if it can get Achane.
Are Eagles Going To Get Browns’ DE Myles Garrett?
While Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett signed a new deal with the team, there has been some speculation about Garrett possibly being traded.
A team that has been mentioned in talks is the Eagles. Reports indicate, though, that the Browns would want between two or three first-round picks in exchange for Garrett. Reports released on Monday have also indicated that Cleveland is not willing to trade Garrett.
Chargers Might Look For OL Help
Don’t be surprised if the Los Angeles Chargers dive into the trade market for some help along their offensive line.
The issues are likely a high priority for Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh following the news about OL Joe Alt on Monday. Alt will miss the rest of the 2025 season as he faces season-ending surgery for a high ankle sprain.
Alt becomes the second OL lost by Los Angeles this season, along with Rashawn Slater, according to a post on X from Schefter.
Might 49ers Dip Into Trade Market For Veteran DL?
The San Francisco 49ers got some brutal news on Monday as rookie defensive lineman Mykel Williams has a torn ACL. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan shared the news with the media, according to a post on X from ESPN Senior NFL Reporter Jeremy Fowler.
Packers Could Look For Some Help At TE
On Monday, the Green Bay Packers announced that their team has lost tight end Tucker Kraft, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear on Sunday. ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky revealed Monday that Kraft’s injury was going to put him on the sidelines.
