Angel Reese travels to Germany to support Wendell Carter Jr. as the Magic face the Grizzlies in the NBA's first regular-season game in Berlin.

WNBA superstar Angel Reese is making the most of her WNBA offseason. That includes showing support for her boyfriend, the Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr., even if it requires traveling all the way to Germany.

The Magic traveled to Germany for the NBA’s first-ever regular-season game in Berlin. Orlando is set to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Uber Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET, and the game will air on Prime Video as part of the NBA Global Games.

Reese made the trip to Germany and shared several moments from her travels on Instagram. In one story, she posted a photo with the message “I ❤️ Berlin.”

In another, she shared a short video of herself waving the German flag.

Reese was dressed for the winter weather, wearing a black knit beanie with a white Chanel logo, a black faux-fur jacket, and a metallic watch on her left wrist. Her posts quickly drew attention from fans, continuing a trend that has followed her throughout the NBA season.

The Berlin game is also notable for featuring German brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner, both of whom play key roles for the Magic. The Magic enters the international matchup with a 22-18 record, placing them sixth in the Eastern Conference.

Reese has frequently been spotted at Magic games this season. On Jan. 2, she attended Orlando’s game against the Chicago Bulls in Chicago, where she watched from courtside while supporting Carter. She was also present on Dec. 7 for a Magic game against the New York Knicks, attending alongside Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers.

One of Reese’s most talked-about appearances came during the NBA Cup quarterfinal on Dec. 10, when the Magic hosted the Miami Heat. Reese wore a customized Magic jersey with the words “My Man” printed. She later shared photos from the game on Instagram, which received more than 190,000 likes.

While neither Reese nor Carter has publicly confirmed their relationship, both have posted several hints on social media. On Christmas, Reese shared a selfie in which she wore a necklace featuring a “WCJ” pendant, matching Carter’s initials.

Carter has been a steady contributor for Orlando this season. The 26-year-old center is averaging 12.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while providing a strong presence in the paint.

Reese, meanwhile, is enjoying time away from the court. She is not participating in the Unrivaled league this season, after playing in it last year, when she won a championship with Rose BC and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.

As the Magic take center stage in Berlin, Reese’s presence adds another layer of attention to the historic international matchup.
