What’s at Stake in Monday Night’s Chiefs-Jaguars Game?

Kansas City enters 2-2 after rebounding from a 0-2 start with consecutive wins. The Chiefs defeated Baltimore 37-20 last week behind four Patrick Mahomes touchdown passes. Mahomes has also rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns through four games.

Travis Etienne leads the ground game with 394 rushing yards on 6.1 yards per carry, ranking third among all running backs through four games.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have the 4th-ranked defense in PFSN’s Defensive Impact metric with a B grade (85.2) and the 13th-ranked offense with a C+ grade (77.9), edging Kansas City slightly in overall offensive efficiency.

Historically, the Chiefs have dominated this matchup, winning eight straight meetings from 2010. Kansas City also beat Jacksonville 27-20 in the 2023 divisional round. The Chiefs look to make it three consecutive wins while the Jaguars aim to prove their hot start is legitimate against a championship-caliber opponent.
