Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills want to have all their players ready to go against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Week 17 matchup in Orchard Park, N.Y.
Unfortunately for Allen and Bills head coach Sean McDermott, they will be missing a couple of key stars on the offensive side of the ball.
What’s Happening With Bills’ TE Dalton Kincaid, WR Keon Coleman?
Ahead of the Sunday afternoon home game for the Bills, Buffalo released a list of their inactive players against Philadelphia, which featured Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid.
What’s happening with Coleman? Well, it appears that McDermott has labeled Coleman as a healthy scratch, according to NFL Network National NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe.
“Bills WR Keon Coleman is a healthy scratch once again,” Wolfe posted on X. “Coach decision. They told him early in the week, per source. Bills desperately need boundary WR production, but no longer counting on Coleman talent. An offseason fresh start could make sense for both sides.”

Wolfe then addressed Kincaid’s absence on Sunday, saying that the tight end is trying to get over a knee injury. Wolfe also explains how these absences could affect Allen’s play-calling efforts against the Eagles’ defense.

“Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is also inactive due to knee injury he’s been trying to manage,” Wolfe posted on X. “So Josh Allen down his 2023 1st round pick and 2024 2nd round pick weapons for different reasons vs. Eagles today.”
According to the PFSN NFL WR Impact metrics, Coleman has an impact score of 71.3 and grades out to a C-. On the season, Coleman has 36 catches for 355 yards and four touchdown catches. He’s been averaging 6.5 yards per reception this season and has missed three games.
What about Kincaid? According to the PFSN NFL TE Impact metrics, Kincaid has an impact score of 86.8 and grades out to a B. On the season so far, Kincaid has 36 catches for 523 yards and five touchdowns.
Allen will have to go up against Philadelphia on Sunday without these two players on offense. Bills fans will hope that the reigning NFL MVP can produce a victory in what will be a very cold atmosphere for the Buffalo faithful.
