As the NFL turns to the Sunday slate for Week 10 of the NFL regular season, the game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Indianapolis Colts should be an excellent showing for NFL fans in Berlin, Germany.
Where Do the Falcons and Colts Stand Heading Into Week 10?
The Falcons sit at 3-5 in the NFC South division and are coming off an upsetting 24-23 loss against the now 7-2 New England Patriots. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. took a step forward in his development in this game, completing 22 of 37 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 19 yards.
Running back Bijan Robinson had a slow day on the ground, only rushing for 46 yards in 12 attempts. Yet, as a receiver, he caught eight balls for 50 yards. All eyes were on WR Drake London, though, who caught nine passes for 118 yards and three touchdowns.
The Colts sit at 7-2 in the AFC South and are also coming off a 27-20 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Daniel Jones, who had been blowing teams apart, could not pull another rabbit out of the hat. The signal-caller threw for 342 yards, one touchdown, one rushing touchdown, and three interceptions.
Johnathan Taylor, who has been the clear RB1 this season, was held at bay in this game, only rushing for 45 yards in 14 attempts.
However, the Colts made a significant upgrade to their secondary this week. On the day of the trade deadline, they acquired 25-year-old All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets in exchange for two future first-round picks.

Look Ahead for Both Teams
The Colts aim to build upon their impressive start to the season by securing a win, which would improve their record to 8-2. The team is looking to win its first AFC South title since 2014, as its biggest competition is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who sit at 5-3.
In Week 11, the Colts will have their bye week and play the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12.
The Falcons are looking to compete for the NFC South title, but they trail the 5-4 Carolina Panthers by two games and the 6-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers by three. The last time the Falcons won the NFC South was back in 2016.
Following the Week 10 matchup, the Falcons will take on the Panthers in a home game.
