It has been a few months since what many considered the wedding of the year, with pop icon Taylor Swift finally tying the knot with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on July 3.
The high-profile couple’s wedding quickly became a major cultural moment, but the stories surrounding it have continued to surface. Now, Kelce has revealed another lesser-known story from before the big day.

On his “New Heights” podcast, the Chiefs star revisited his viral photoshoot for Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 “Only in New York” campaign. Kelce explained that the shoot initially involved a dog, and that idea required one important conversation at home.
“It was fun,” Travis said. “We were going to use a dog in the shoot, and the entire team was mentioning, ‘You know, we were going to use a dog, and am I okay with dogs?’ I’m like, ‘I have a dog,’ like, ‘Oh, you want to bring your dog in,’ [and] I’m just like, ‘Let me talk it over with my fiancée at the time.’ Let me talk it over with Tay and figure out, you know, what’s the best way to go about this, and she was all for it.”
Kelce then explained why bringing their dog into the campaign felt like such a natural fit.
“It’s kind of crazy how perfect she looks in a Tommy Hilfiger world,” he added about the photo. “She matches the brand and the shoot, and it was pretty easy to get her to jump on the couch and have some fun with us.”
In the photo, Kelce leaned back on a classic blue-and-white striped outdoor sofa. He wore a sharp, layered navy blue tailored overcoat over a cozy, high-collared white knit turtleneck sweater.

The crisp white of Kelce’s sweater matched his co-star, Wendy, who sat beside him with her dense, snow-white fur grabbing the spotlight.
Now, after their wedding, Swift and Kelce are balancing married life with two demanding careers. Page Six recently shed more light on how the couple is handling the change.
“Taylor and Travis spent so much time together in the months leading up to the wedding, and they were pretty much inseparable,” Page Six reported. “Now they’re settling into this new rhythm as a married couple and really enjoying what that feels like.”
For Swift, that busy schedule has also fueled speculation about what could come next. Fans believe she may be working on another project or potentially even a new album.
Meanwhile, Kelce has remained focused on football, with training camp and offseason work continuing with the Chiefs. He will return to action Sept. 14, when Kansas City opens its season against the Denver Broncos.
