The NFL offseason is upon us, and there are many storylines to follow for each team and some of the star players in the league. When it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs, everyone wants to know how they plan on rebounding from a bad season. They missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, as inconsistencies on both sides of the ball led to their poor record.
The most public figure on the team is tight end Travis Kelce. Everyone knows him for being a great tight end and for being engaged to Taylor Swift. Kelce and Swift are rumored to be preparing for their wedding in early July, and famous actor Tom Hanks offered them some marriage advice.

Hanks has been married for 38 years, so he knows a thing or two about navigating a successful marriage. According to People.com, Hanks spoke to E! News at the “Toy Story 5” premiere event and said, “The man must make the waffles on Sunday.”

While that may not be the advice for keeping a marriage together, it is certainly something a man can do to keep his wife happy.
Swift released a new song called “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which will be featured in “Toy Story 5,” along with Hanks as the voice behind Woody. It was reported that Swift is a huge “Toy Story” fan and had Hanks, along with Tim Allen, sign an old VHS copy of the original “Toy Story.”
As for Kelce, he is getting prepared for his 14th NFL season, all with the Chiefs. He recently signed a three-year contract extension and is hoping to chase another championship before calling it a career.

Kelce has become so much more than an NFL player now that he is engaged to Swift; he has a whole new set of fans, called “Swifties,” who will likely be rooting for him on Sundays.
Ultimately, success for the Chiefs and Kelce will depend on the health of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is coming off an ACL tear and will need to return to 100% if the Chiefs are to have any shot at the Super Bowl.
Kelce will be 37 next season, and the soon-to-be-married man hopes to have enough left in the tank to help the Chiefs get back to Super Bowl Sunday.
