What Is Tetairoa McMillan’s Salary?

Under the NFL’s rookie wage scale, contracts are largely determined by draft slot. As the eighth overall selection, McMillan signed a four-year, fully guaranteed $27.93 million contract with an average annual salary of $6.98 million.

As with all first-round picks, the deal also includes a fifth-year team option, which would extend McMillan’s contract through the 2029 season if the Panthers choose to exercise it.

Before starting his NFL career, McMillan had an NIL valuation of approximately $890,000. That figure placed him No. 84 on the NIL 100 list and No. 52 among college football players. He has an estimated 54,000 combined followers across Instagram, TikTok, and X, although his activity appears to be primarily limited to Instagram.

During his college career, McMillan landed five NIL partnerships, working with Friends of Wilbur & Wilma, Jim Click Automotive, EA Sports, Raising Cane’s, and JLab.

Now, as the star for the Panthers, McMillan’s visibility is expected to grow rapidly. With a rising national profile and a clear path to a prominent NFL stardom, additional endorsement opportunities are likely to follow.

His college production and polish suggested he could step into a starting role from Day 1, and he was able to do that with Carolina.
