Serena Williams is not only one of the greatest tennis players in history but also a devoted mother to her two daughters, Olympia and Adira. The American recently shared a video of herself and her younger daughter, Adira, as she got ready, showcasing a stylish outfit.
Williams met her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, in 2015 at a hotel in Rome, and they became engaged there in 2016. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Olympia, on Sept. 1, 2017, and married in November 2017 at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. In August 2023, they welcomed their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian.

Williams frequently shares pictures and videos of Olympia and Adira on her social media. She recently shared a video in which she can be seen wearing a beige outfit, then transitions to a light blue striped shirt, paired with barrel jeans and vibrant orange heels. The 23-time singles Grand Slam champion accessorized with jewelry and a watch and wore minimal makeup.
In the video, little Adira can be seen roaming around her mother, watching the camera. Williams then picks up her daughter, converses with her, and walks away smiling. In the caption, Williams expressed her joy in loving herself and embracing the new “season of motherhood.”
“Loving this season of motherhood and ME!” Williams captioned her Instagram post.
On the tennis side, Williams, who turned professional in 1995, retired in 2022 after competing at the US Open. In singles, she reached the third round before falling to Ajla Tomljanović. In doubles, she partnered with her sister, Venus Williams, but they lost in the first round to the pair of Lucie Hradecká and Linda Nosková.
In December 2025, Williams’ name appeared on the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s (ITIA) anti-doping testing pool list, igniting rumors about a potential return to professional tennis. Although the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion remained vague when asked about a return to the WTA Tour, her name appeared on the ITIA as of Feb. 22, 2026.
When asked directly whether rejoining the testing pool signaled a return, Williams responded on the NBC Today show, “I don’t know. I’m just going to see what happens.”
Throughout her career, Williams won a total of 39 Grand Slam titles, including 23 in singles, 14 in Grand Slam doubles alongside her sister Venus, and two mixed doubles titles with Max Mirnyi. She also held the No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles in the WTA rankings and won four Olympic medals for the United States, among other achievements.
