Jessica Pegula and Amanda Anisimova Dazzle at WTA Party Before Wimbledon

Pegula has arrived at Wimbledon on the back of an impressive run to the Berlin Tennis Open final. The world No. 4 secured stellar wins over Kateřina Siniaková, Madison Keys, and Aryna Sabalenka at the WTA 500 event before falling short against Linda Nosková in the title clash.

Anisimova, meanwhile, kicked off her grass-court season at the Queen’s Club Championships, triumphing over Laura Siegemund in her tournament opener. However, Iva Jovic ended the world No. 6’s run in the quarterfinals, claiming a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 victory. Subsequently, Anisimova withdrew from the Berlin Tennis Open, reportedly due to back spasms.

Now at Wimbledon, both players will have their sights set on clinching their maiden Grand Slam title. While Anisimova will be looking to go one step further and win the title after losing in the final last year, Pegula will seek to reverse her fortunes at the All England Club, having suffered a first-round loss last year and a second-round defeat the year before.

Ahead of their highly anticipated campaigns, Pegula, Anisimova, and Desirae Krawczyk made a stylish appearance at a WTA party hosted at The Roof Gardens in Kensington, where they happily posed for pictures together.

Anisimova dazzled in an elegant white dress, while Pegula turned heads in a chic black Adidas outfit. Krawczyk opted for a leopard print dress, which she paired with white sneakers.

As Pegula gears up for the grass-court Major, she will be eager to overcome her recent struggles at SW19. While competing in Berlin, Pegula had acknowledged her disappointing record at Wimbledon and expressed her desire to translate the success she has enjoyed in Germany to the lawns of the All England Club.

“Well, I like the German grass. Very specific. My results have seemed to just show that… that I like the German grass only. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I can change that over into maybe some British grass,” Pegula said.
