The Frenchman entered the Miami Open as the 30th seed, defeating former world No. 20 Tomáš Macháč in the round of 64 with a final scoreline of 6-0, 1-6, 6-4. However, during his practice before the match, Moutet engaged in a lively conversation with Collins, which she revealed during a recent episode of Tennis Channel.

Collins said while highlighting her dating preferences, “And I basically said to him, I said, ‘If you’re going to be flirting with me like that, you’re going to have to get a bigger serve.’ He unfollowed me after my viral dating profile when I said I wasn’t interested in the short Kings.”

She added, describing how Moutet struck up a conversation with her and hinted at whether he can win her over, “I mean, come on, people. You have to understand that I’m 5’10”. He slid back into the DMs last night asking me if I saw his match and all the big serves that he was hitting. I don’t think he has a chance yet. But who knows?”

Collins’ reflection on their conversation, however, garnered a clear response from Moutet, who dismissed her claim. Furthermore, he corrected the narrative, highlighting the contradiction to what Collins shared on Tennis Channel.

Through his recent X post, Moutet said, “😂😂 how can I unfollow you when I never followed you😂 @TennisChannel how can you let someone say BS like this on tv You followed me You asked me for mixed dubs And I’ve never even followed you😂 You ready to say anything so people talks about you You should learn how to love yourself so you won’t have to do stupid things for people loves @TennisChannel good sport journalist 🤝.”
