Carlos Alcaraz is the top-ranked man on the ATP Tour, leading the field with 13,550 ranking points, more than 2,000 ahead of his closest contender, Jannik Sinner. He is currently competing at the 2026 Miami Open, where he defeated Brazilian sensation João Fonseca in the second-round match.
Away from the hard courts of Miami, his youngest brother, Jaime Alcaraz, is making headlines on the Murcia Challenger Sub-15 Tour with his recent heroics.
Jaime Alcaraz Dominates the Murcia Challenger Sub-15 Tournament
The world No. 1 had one of the best starts to a season in his career this year, going unbeaten for 16 matches in a row, lifting the Qatar Open and the Australian Open titles, and completing his career Grand Slam at the age of just 22. However, he is not the only Alcaraz who is riding the waves of success.
At 14 years old, Jaime Alcaraz, the youngest of the Alcaraz Garfia siblings, recently won the Under-15 Challenger event in Murcia, held alongside the ATP Challenger. The teenager dominated the clay courts in his hometown, lifting the trophy by defeating fellow Spaniard Rodrigo Burgos Casares 6-1, 6-2 in the final.

A clip is going viral on social media, showing the young Alcaraz standing patiently as the speaker announces his name, then making his way to collect the trophy and posing for a photograph. This championship-level performance and his on-court flair have inevitably drawn comparisons between the world No. 1 and the teenager, showing glimpses of his older brother during the tournament.

This is not the only time Jaime made headlines in Spain, as he lifted the 2023 Rafa Nadal trophy under the sub-12 category, dominantly announcing his arrival. Notably, this is the same title Carlos himself won twice, once in the sub-12 category in 2015 and again in the sub-14 category in 2016, showing that his younger brother is following in the footsteps of the seven-time Grand Slam champion and is most likely to lead the tour in the coming years.

On the other hand, the 22-year-old has reached the third round of the Miami Open, avoiding the massive wave of upsets at Hard Rock Stadium. His second-round match was a much-anticipated matchup against the Brazilian sensation Fonseca, whom he defeated 6-4, 6-4.
The top seed will take on the lowest seed, American Sebastian Korda, who lifted the Delray Beach Open title last month, defeating fellow American Tommy Paul in the championship match. According to PFSN’s exclusive interactive simulator, the Spaniard has around an 88% chance of prevailing against the American and reaching the fourth round, where he will most probably face Karen Khachanov.
