Aryna Sabalenka is an engaged woman. The tennis player gave a peek at her romantic candlelight proposal, as boyfriend Georgios Frangulis got down on one knee in the dreamy setting. The couple couldn’t contain their delight while sharing a sweet kiss.
Sabalenka is presently at Indian Wells, competing for the title as the top seed. She is accompanied by her partner, her coaching team, and a special new addition to their family.
Aryna Sabalenka Says Yes to Boyfriend Georgios Frangulis
Sabalenka and Frangulis made their relationship public at the 2024 Madrid Open. The Belarusian first referred to her partner as her boyfriend a couple of weeks later, during her runner-up speech at the Italian Open. Frangulis, a Brazilian of Greek heritage, is an entrepreneur and a motorsports enthusiast. He is the founder of Oakberry Açaí, a healthy fast-food brand, with Sabalenka as the ambassador.
Ever since the couple made things official, Sabalenka’s partner has accompanied her to her tournaments, establishing himself as her biggest supporter. In January, at the Brisbane International, the World No. 1 teased Frangulis about wanting a ring on her finger.
“Thank you to my boyfriend. Hopefully soon I’ll call you something else, right? Let’s just do that. Let’s just put an extra pressure, right?” she joked during her speech after winning the title.
