Aryna Sabalenka vs Emma Raducanu Preview
Top seed Aryna Sabalenka will take on Emma Raducanu in the third round of Wimbledon, and whoever wins, will lock horns with either 14th seed Elina Svitolina or 24th seed Elise Mertens in the fourth round of the grass-court Major.
Sabalenka has had an impressive 2025 season so far, winning 44 out of 52 matches so far. The Belarusian won three titles, including two WTA 1000 events in Miami and Madrid. She also reached the finals of the Australian Open and the French Open.
The World No. 1 faced Canadian qualifier Carson Branstine in the first round and registered a 6-1, 7-5. She then locked horns with Marie Bouzková and won a tightly-contested encounter 7-6(4), 6-4 to book her place in the third round of Wimbledon.
Emma Raducanu has won 18 out of 31 matches so far in the 2025 season, most notably reaching the quarterfinals of the Miami. The 22-year-old entered Wimbledon after a second-round exit at the Eastbourne Open.
Raducanu faced compatriot Mimi Xu in the first round of the grass-court Major and won 6-3, 6-3 to set up a second-round clash with 2023 champion Markéta Vondroušová. The brit produced a fine performance and registered another 6-3, 6-3 victory to reach the third round of Wimbledon for the second year in a row.

Aryna Sabalenka vs Emma Raducanu Head-to-Head
The only prior encounter between the two came in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells last year, with Sabalenka winning 6-3, 7-5.
Aryna Sabalenka vs Emma Raducanu Prediction
Sabalenka will enter the match as the heavy favorite to win. That said, Raducanu should not be written off, as she will have the crowd by her side and can produce some fine tennis on her day.
Sabalenka has won 58 out of 70 points (82.9%) on her first serve so far during Wimbledon, serving eight aces. The Belarusian also produced 58 winners compared to 36 unforced errors. Her hitting and highly offensive game will no doubt give Raducanu a tough time.
The Brit has won 56 out of 78 points (71.8%) on her first serve so far at the grass-court Major, serving six aces. She also produced 43 winners compared to 33 unforced errors. Raducanu is a good returner and she will test Sabalenka’s serve. She will look to be aggressive from the start of the match and dictate as much as she can, in order to put pressure on the Belarusian.
While Raducanu is not someone to be taken lightly, Sabalenka’s current run of form would take something completely out of the ordinary from the Brit to beat her.
Prediction: Sabalenka to win in straight sets.
